IC INFO
Character Name: Esmeryl
Canon Name: Transformers Victory (Manga). AU due to all the headcanon
Age: At least 4 million years old.

OC, AU, or CRAU History:
CRAU from Cyberformed.
- Arrived on the R2 and she basically treated it like an extended holiday where none of this was her problem.
- She did a few missions here and there to help out just for something to do. In doing so she slowly grew attached to some of those on the R2 with her, culminating in thinking of the turtle, Donatello, as a son. It wasn't something she intended to happen, but it happened.
- On her last mission, she gained a pack of cursed tarot cards and a very strong desire for a daughter given one of the sacrifices was a baby she wanted. She has some genetic samples to clone her a daughter.

Personality:
Dot points go!

- Esmeryl is technically a Decepticon civilian; yet she can and will defend herself if attacked.
- Homemaker. Wife to Deathsaurus. EMPRESS.
- Will take to the field if she must, but you Will Regret It. (Anything Deathsaurus can do, she can generally do too. She's not as skilled/trained though, even after her time on the R2, and her main weapon is a naginata.)
- She's the Samurai's wife type, the sort who holds down and manages the fort while Deathsaurus is out having adventures. A 'Yamato Nadeshiko' if you will. Silk hiding steel.
- Knows the game of politics well; one doesn't manage a literal fortress of Decepticons without it. Also she was originally onlined as a spy, sooo. Yeah. She likes to gather all the info that she possible can.
- Loyal to Deathsaurus. Very much in love and supportive of him, but not to a sycophantic level. Theirs is a relationship of trust and equals, so yeah, she will call him an idiot if she must. She expects the same from him, too.
- She is a realist in terms of what can and can't be done, but some might call her callous instead. Yet, she is genuinely kind, sometimes caring, towards people unless she has a reason not to be. Make no mistake though; she is a Decepticon with all the morals, or lack there of, of one, and her kindness is not a weakness.
- Those she truly cares about see the softer side - typically in private.
- Very much a fan of colour changing paint; look, she's a lady who likes Options. Plus it's fun.
- She can be a touch hypocritical too. It's Fine.

Powers:
While Esmeryl has no magic to speak of, she is a Cybertronian who was was built to be Deathsaurus counterpart in every way.
Her naginata is a summonable weapon, and she is in possession of colour changing paint that she can change at will.
Cursed Tarot deck; the curse is that every time she uses it to summon things, it eats away at her life force.
She can summon a spectral shield, and is in possession of a a spectral, fluffy hamster that is a Friend and in no way a small, cute Great Old One.

IC INFO
Character Name: Maya (formerly Clíodhna Niamh Aoibhinn)
Canon Name: OC/CRAU
Age: 72 - fae 21ish.

OC, AU, or CRAU History:
A talented Fleshweaver and powerful faerie princess in her own right, Maya is the 14th child (of 19) born to Queen Maeb of the Dark Elves, one of the 16 Fairy Queens of her universe. All her life, Maya has been little more than an afterthought to a mother who never loved her to start with; Maya was a thing, a set piece to be used and discarded as required and raised as such. She swiftly learned how to hide behind a blank mask of distant politeness and become the perfect showpiece of a doll with no will of her own. She was tutored by the best of the best in the galaxy, taking from both Council Space and the Solstar Empire, and is frighteningly intelligent underneath everything.

While she made some friends with those around her, such as with her mother's Cybertronian slaves, Maya's only true connection with family was (is, in the case of Sionann/Zerina) with older siblings who vanished into the ether over the long decades, and with younger siblings who all share the same fate as Maya: Dolls and things to their mother. She isn't close with her father, who is little more than yet another puppet Maeb controls, though she does feel affection for him, unlike her mother.

Maya feels only fear toward Maeb, who has placed a powerful geas on her daughter to prevent her from spilling secrets where she shouldn't. The Fairy Queen has a myriad of them, each as terrifying as the last, and Maya knows this only all too well.

But, despite being raised as little more than a living doll, Maya is not without a will of her own. In a last-ditch attempt to choose her own fate, she secured royal visits with her mother for a pair of newcomers to the Grand Wild Hunt (Leo and Cayde). It was during that visit she begged them to win the Hunt. Against unbelievably high odds, Cayde won the Grand Wild Hunt.

Maya willingly gave her full true name to Cayde and found herself handfasted to him for the next year and a day. And then she found herself in the company of the R2, which turned out to be the best outcome she could have hoped for, and though Maya spent most of her time adjusting to life not being a doll, she did help out on a mission that dealt with space kittens and a goose, and then helped free Blaster and his cassettes from the fae, using her own life force to hold Blaster stable until he was taken back to the ship and stabilised there.

She was pulled into Noanga about a week after she woke up.

Personality:
Polite but distant in her interactions with others outside those she is close to, but her time on the R2 has opened her up, somewhat. It's still easier to be polite and distant , though. Hiding behind the blank mask kept her safe from her mother's wrath, but this doesn't mean she's without a will of her own. Maya is anything but the subservient, complaint doll she presents herself as and is skilled in the complicated politics that dominate the upper echelons of the fae and the Fairy Queens.

Frighteningly intelligent, keenly observant, and strategic, Maya does what she must to survive, and if that means exploiting what she knows and using every trick in the book to manipulate the situation towards her favour, then so be it.

That she willingly gave her truest name to Cayde signified how desperate she was to have even a scrap of control over her choices and destiny. Now she has it, or some modicum of it, it's up to her to make the best of life despite her destined fate drawing ever closer - but it's a fate she's only narrowly avoided by being dragged into this universe.

Her time on the R2 was interesting; she considered it the greatest joke ever played on her mother. She came toe enjoy her time, and came to enjoy Cayde's company - though she's still unsure about a chicken that doesn't spit fire or the like. So weird! Cayde's kindness wasn't a lie - nor is it something she takes for granted. Though he's never used her name against her, it's always at the back of her mind: he could, if she pushes too far.

She doesn't want to find out what would be too far.

Now her story continues on the Noanga, though she does wish the ship wasn't in the state it's in. It's not even Poor; it's derelict!

Powers:
Maya is a fae; while she comes with all the tricks a typical fae would - name taking, glamour, charming people, etc, she is also a talented Fleshweaver who is able to shape not only her own limbs, but is able to shape others into something they are not, though she is far from a master at the craft. She has a fondness for potatoes, onions, and flowers.
She can summon a Potato Monster to fight for her on the field, but not for very long.
She is also skilled with ice magic, typically using it to attack.
She has a pair of war fans that, should she desire it, enable her to heal others and or remove status aliments.

CRAU History:

Personality:
Core points
The time with the Gas Station did not fundamentally change him, but he grew up a little more, mellowed out. He learned to trust easier, though this largely applies to non-humans. There are less outbursts, as he found that reasonable people listen to you, won’t just shut you up with violence. Still very little of a teen rebellion happening, unless you count sneaking out into the forest and being confident enough to wear skirts or dresses (because they are simply beautiful). No more food insecurity, albeit he became largely vegetarian. Less need to keep whoever he cares about close by, as he trusts his found family to be able to handle themselves and knows they won’t just vanish. Happier in general, content with the life carved out for him in this weird space.

Though it’s not all good – living in peace for the first time in his life gave him the safe space to process all the horrible things that happened. Daniel is still grieving his family, the pain of it often surging at small reminders. He obviously has PTSD, can’t endure fireworks or similar sudden, loud noises, can’t be in locked rooms, can’t sleep in total darkness, panics at hospital visits, people in military uniforms and planes overhead. Some days you wouldn’t notice, think him perhaps only a little shy, but others he feels like the world at large is too much to deal with and only wants to hide within the forest. Healing is still a long way ahead, any help appreciated.

Powers:
General human ones
Warden – during his time in the RP he was made Warden of the Gas Station adjacent forest. This was achieved by multiple gods and magical beings gifting a little bit of their essence each for him to voluntarily hold. The position is comparable to a magical park ranger or protective spirit and the effects are mostly subtle.
- protection (specifically from infection by The Thing, making his soul inedible to a Dark Tower demon, preventing unwanted mind-reading; generally having him accepted as a good (magical) part of the forest instead of an outsider/human and being helped by beings inclined such, but also easing his nightmares, anxiety and PTSD a little)
- connection (to nature in general, to the beings in this one good enough for communication, to the forest as a whole via dreams or using a tarot deck to guide the intuition given, means he doesn’t get lost in it anymore and may even use faerie paths or similar shortcuts through thin spaces safely if properly respecting them)
- minor body changes (eyes got a green shimmer, can see somewhat better in the dark, a knack for spotting magic and seeing through glamour, boost of health/strength if physically near his forest)
The only major magic he got is a sort of emergency teleportation, where he can walk into a tree and be spit out of a different one. He has no control about where he will end up and it depends on the trees cooperation, so it never really got used outside of his forest.
It’s not without drawbacks either, was he as a Warden expected to listen to the forests problems and find ways to fix them, ranging from removing litter to mediating territory claims between nymphs and kelpies to facing off truly dangerous beings threatening to gain a foothold. Sometimes it gets overwhelming, could he space out and find himself having wandered far with no recollection of it because something demanded his attention. The forests well-being reflects on his and vice-versa - animals hiding away when he was in a medical coma, but also him feeling listless in the deep of winter.

IC INFO
Character Name: Bucky Barnes
Canon Name: MCU
Age: Early 30s in appearance/maturity, 98 based on birthdate

OC, AU, or CRAU History:
After running away from Steve Rogers and HYDRA, the asset scrounged up some clothes and a backpack and a place to hide, scavenged some dinner out of a trash can, and went to sleep, hoping to heal up from his injuries from the fight and hopefully wake up less confused and conflicted.

He woke up, instead, in a summoning circle in another world, all alone, with a Jeep waiting for him outside the empty, abandoned gas station he woke up in. He left immediately, because what else was he going to do, sit around waiting to be found by HYDRA? It didn't occur to him that it wasn't HYDRA that brought him to a new world, or even that it was another world, so his first thought for why he was moved was, in fact, his former owners.

It wasn't, of course. He never found another person in the strange new place, though he did find plenty of monsters, and started turning into one himself in some ways. He grew great curling horns from his forehead, broad and powerful bat wings from his back, and a prehensile tail from his spine. A few behavioral changes took place, too, but he doesn't necessarily recognize them as odd, because, after all, he doesn't remember anything but leaving the HYDRA base and fighting Steve Rogers. Maybe he's always been fond of shiny objects, preferred to nest in high places, and hummed idly under his breath when he feels safe enough to do so. He's a bit more feral than even a straight-from-canon Bucky might be, but also a bit more solid in his sense of self.

Personality:
James Buchanan Barnes, known around Brooklyn as Bucky, was a friendly young man, ready with a smile and a joke to lighten the mood, good with people to the point of being charming. Of course, the flip side was he was vain, particularly about his hair, and tended towards over-confident when it came to his relationships with other people, particularly ladies. His sense of humor leaned to the sarcastic side, but he was as quick with a compliment as snark, and he had an optimistic view of the future, fascinated with science fiction and new breakthroughs in actual science.

The most important person in his life was Steve Rogers, a boy one year younger with a list of health problems as long as his arm, and a heart and sense of courage far bigger than his small stature. Bucky was protective of Steve, even over-protective, and often wound up rescuing Steve from fights he couldn’t win and then bawling him out after for getting into trouble. They both grew up relatively poor and spent their adolescence and young adulthood in the Great Depression, which certainly left its mark. He hated waste, always needing to mend and re-use and scrounge rather than buy new, and put up with a terrible tenement apartment first with his family and later on with Steve just to save up for things like medicine and the occasional trip to Coney Island. It helped teach him patience. Above all, he was loyal to a fault and felt things deeply, from wonder to anger to love.

Then Bucky was drafted, sent to training, and then into World War II. Sergeant Barnes was a different person than the Bucky from Brooklyn. He was more guarded and less friendly, because everyone in wartime was more guarded and less friendly, but his confidence and patience translated into innate leadership skills and extra training as a designated marksman, which was its own kind of torment as a dedicated killer. After his capture and torture at Azzano, he grew even more withdrawn, using his former cocky, sarcastic demeanor as a shield against anyone seeing just how off he felt. He still felt everything deeply, and after Azzano he was feeling wrong.

He still had Steve-- albeit a Steve who didn’t seem to need him like he used to-- and he was still steadfastly loyal even to this new Steve, turning down an honorable medical discharge in order to watch his friend’s back. His over-protective streak grew from just Steve to include the entirety of the Howling Commandos, as Steve’s second in command and the sharpshooter watching above them all.

Then Bucky fell from the train and was captured by HYDRA yet again. The Winter Soldier, also called the Asset, came from what they did to him, and he was again a different person. Implacable, ruthless, calculating, endlessly patient, highly skilled... and literally stripped of the ability to choose beyond the parameters of his mission. He no longer thought of himself as a person, just a pair of hands attached to triggers, knives, and a set of orders. If left out of cryo too long, or left too long between personality wipes, he was susceptible to flashes of memory, spurts of defiance, and moments of compassion, but even those were severely punished. He learned how to anticipate the moods of his handlers and avoid punishment as much as possible, but he still never entirely believed the lies they fed him about how what HYDRA was doing was right. He was just too afraid, confused, and alone to ever do much about it-- he didn’t remember anything else.

There will be a fourth person, starting to emerge now that the Soldier has escaped captivity and the constant threat of getting his brains scrambled, with memories slowly starting to come back, but just what that person will be like is hard to say.

Powers:
* Super-soldier serum, the evil version: Not quite the kind that was given to Captain America, but rather one that's gone through some variations and remixes due to lack of resources, creative thinking, and indifference to the suffering of the subject. This increases his metabolism to the point where he heals from damage in about 1/4 the time of an unenhanced human and gives him increased strength, speed, and stamina. His memory has improved to the point of being nearly edetic and he has slightly enhanced senses of sight, hearing, and smell. Due to his increased metabolism, drugs in general do not work on him except in large doses and he can no longer get drunk. It also means he needs to eat a lot after using too much strength or regeneration.
* Metal arm: Bucky's left arm from the shoulder down has been replaced by a machine. It has limited haptics, wired directly into his spine, and it is bulletproof. It can overheat or be overloaded with electricity and needs to be rebooted (this is done by a wide vertical swing, which does not look quite humanly possible), and it is much heavier than a normal arm, causing internal damage when used that his serum must constantly heal, and is anchored to his skeleton on the left side by a series of painful metal welds. The only reason he can bear it at all is the serum.
* Advanced training: Bucky Barnes' trained skillset includes basic army training and advanced sniper training, as well as an understanding of guerilla tactics and some mechanical expertise, and a lot of trial-and-error scrounging for food in Europe's forests. The Winter Soldier's skillset is much broader, including advanced hand-to-hand techniques, proficiency with firearms and close-combat weapons of an incredibly wide variety, fluency in multiple languages, enhanced bodily control and flexibility, subterfuge, stealth, and standard mission skills such as looking after the basic necessities, obtaining supplies, and seeking out intel. He has crazy-high pain tolerance and the ability to do some first aid on himself (and others), he can do basic maintenance on the mechanical arm, and he presents a damn good poker face.
* Pre-War skills: Some simple mechanics, for fixing up old-timey machinery, and mending clothing. Bucky spent time both working in construction and on the docks, so is at least passingly familiar with building things and ships.
* Gargoyle skills: Bucky can fly, though he has trouble getting lift sometimes given he's really quite heavy, and prefers to jump off of things than take off straight from the ground. He can grab things with his tail. He can climb walls like a lizard, clinging to them by some magical means. He also has extremely good eyesight at a distance, meant for swooping down on prey from high above them, though this trades off by making it harder for him to see things up close. Attempting to read, for example, will involve a lot of holding books at arm's length to make out small details, and he may start associating people as much with scent and voice as with their face, unless he can see them from several feet away. He has some mild affinity for earth magic, which mostly just amounts to growing stone claws or manipulating the metal of his own arm, though may affect other stone or metal objects with practice.

Dependents:
Nope!

Canon Name: Marvel Cinematic Universe
Age: Over a thousand

OC, AU, or CRAU History:
AU background details

CRAU:
* Started off in Aurora, a train going through the void that used to be every universe, trying to restore everything. He was very upset to think that everything and everyone he knew was gone and clung to the chance that the mission coule bring them back. He befriended the amnesiac pony-human Sunset Shimmer, feeling a sense of commonality from what she could remember, and she was very good at reading him.

* Went to the Greening, where fae kidnapped random people to be their entertainment. Any relief at finding out the multiverse wasn't as gone as he thought was cancelled out by the horrors of how the fae used captives for entertainment. He escaped the worst of it and was starting to carve out a place that he and other captives could use as a refuge, but was also starting to enjoy terrorizing minor fae.

* Was taken next to Sidereal, an isolated city mysteriously empty of all animal life other than people from other universes. No mission, he finally had a break and got to make a bunch of friends. He also met people who knew of a Loki that had tried to invade Earth and realized that he was the outlier.

* Finally he was brought to Longest Night in the world of Rise of the Guardians by the power of belief of children to save all of reality. He was already an old hat at the kidnapping and while a little disappointed the vacation was over, he eagerly took up the mission and explained things to newbies. He also got confirmation that he was from a series of movies, which by this point wasn't as much of an existential crisis as it might have been earlier in his world-hopping adventures.

Personality:
* Mischievous and enjoys being trouble, but not so much that he becomes hated or unwanted. He's trying to aim for unpredictable fun while being a reliable ally in a crisis. He greatly values any trust that others place in him, and the more informed it is, the more afraid he is of failing to live up to that trust.

* Huge identity issues all over the place. He has fully rejected being a prince of Asgard and son of Odin and only sticks around because of promises he made to Frigga and Thor. He has memories of a timeline where Odin returned him to Laufey and he was fostered at Asgard to serve at his future king's side and is disturbed by how happy that version of him was while, from the outside, he could see all the cracks. He knows on an intellectual level that being a Frost Giant doesn't make him a monster, but he's still proccessing that while also knowing that other Frost Giants will reject him for his crimes against them. He has no true home anymore, but keeps seeking out places that are comfortable enough.

* He has a lot of dread about what might be coming in his future. He's learned of the myths of Ragnarok and is so horrified by them that he's vowed to never have children, in case they become monsters. In his home universe he spent most of his time preparing for when Thanos makes a move, and with extra-universe information, he wants to make sure that his timeline's fight goes better than it's "meant to". He's strongly adopted a "screw fate" mindset, but has his doubts whether it's possible, which also turns into self-doubt.

* He's had a lot of the arrogance knocked out of him, but not all of it, and he performatively puffs up his god status. But he's also very eager to back up his boasting with impressive feats and doesn't expect worship just because one culture on Earth once thought of him as a god. He'd rather earn their sense of awe by showing off the amazing things he can do.

Powers:
* Asgardian and/or Jotun physiology: Loki is much stronger and tougher than humans, to the point of near-invulnerability. Thanks to his Jotun heritage, he also has an extreme tolerance to cold.

* Magic: Loki has magic. What can it do? Anything magic can! He specializes in creating illusions, but he also created a small personal pocket universe for storage, and he's come up with spells for other effects with some effort; he's been working on a personal flying spell, for instance. He can also use his magic as bolts in combat.

* Ice powers: As a Jotun, Loki can create and breathe ice. But as he lived most of his life as an Asgardian, ignorant of his true heritage and fearing those powers, he has no idea how to use them unless he's got a powerful Jotun artifact in his hands to help.

Dependents:

IC INFO
Character Name: Brian Thomas
Canon Name: Marble Hornets
Age: Unspecified, but assumedly in his mid to late twenties, since he was in college with the film Marble Hornets was being made
OC, AU, or CRAU History:
Detailed Snowblind history from an old app
(or the shorter version from a different one. ignore the we the lost section)

Personality:
Brian is...different. His mind is fractured and his personality reflects that, since he's regressed to a semi-feral state. He doesn't like to be seen, refuses to talk (almost always, at least) and honestly doesn't act all that human anymore. He acts somewhat like an ambush predator more than anything else, preferring to watch, wait and plan before making moves.

He tends to view people in the catagories of "tools/pawns" and "threats," though after his time in Norfinbury the "allies/friends" catagory has grown. He's not really sure how people end up there, and with no one he knows here considers it a non-issue. He's less shy about people than he was in canon, though, so its likely he'll end up with people he tolerates here as well.

Brian is a very driven person, having devoted his life to two goals: the destruction of Alex Kralie and finding/reaching the ark. Kralie is no longer an issue, but the ark is something different. He does not actually know what the ark is, its simply something he needs desperately to find. Somehow it will answer all his questions and make things better; he figures he'll somehow just know once he's found it (Somehow figuring things out about other mysteries will help, though). He doesn't believe he can archive either of these goals alone, however. Other people exist as either tools or obstacles and are to be dealt with accordingly. (Or, weirdly, friends who he would be willing to share it with. He doesn't get that either.)
When Brian acts towards these goals or his own survival, he does what he believes must be done. There's no remorse for any problems he might cause or pain he might inflict upon others.

He thinks his typing is completely normal, kthx, and does not grasp that other people might not have any clue to what his coded messages mean. He also doesn't understand the concept of not just filming everything or why people might not want to be recorded (even if he very badly doesn't want to be in most cases). He's just kinda broken but sees it as perfectly normal and maybe everyone else is just weird.

old app has more

Powers: No canon powers, though he occasionally causes glitching and distortion in audio/visual equipment when being recorded.

Dependents: None; he already has an emotional support (voodoo) doll

Character Name: Julian "Jules" Thibault
Canon Name: Changeling: The Lost
Age: 25, give or take a couple of years (time in Faerie is weird that way)

OC, AU, or CRAU History:
There's a wall of text history here. There's also a brief setting description here.

Personality:
Jules tends to be a little high-strung, and he is pretty good about inadvertently letting people know this. They usually catch on to this the second he starts yelling about something or dramatically bemoaning his fate about some other thing. He's a coward who scares easily and loudly. He's also a complainer. He's good at finding flaws in everything and loudly sharing them with the class. He plans for the worst, and he doesn't dare hope for the best. His life has not been something that engenders hoping for the best. "What if" is a question that is to be thrown at anything and everything in order to test it. He's convinced his life has been a string of nothing but the Worst Possible Outcomes, and so clearly those are what he needs to worry about. He loves blowing things out of proportion

More than anything, Jules can't handle combat. He is not a combatant by any means, and he will beg forgiveness or mercy or start crying hide or flee or do what he needs to do in order not to get involved. The man doesn't have much in the way of pride when it comes to saving his own skin. Subtlety is not something he's good at here. As much as he hates losing his tail, he will gladly drop it and run if it thinks it would be a sufficient distraction to spare him a really terrible fight. His gargoylish fae mien might be imposing to some, and he's aware of this on some level. But in practice, he's not good at applying that intimidation potential. He can work up a very good resting gargoyle bitchface if he has to, but any effect that has usually dissolves when he opens his mouth to speak or if he's confronted directly. It doesn't help that the human form of his Mask is scrawny and relatively unimposing, as Jules was before he was taken.

Yet underneath the surface, he's got a surprising amount of determination. You don't escape from Faerie if you're a total weakling, and there is some sort of strength hidden deep in there. Jules can be patient when he needs to. Very patient. He'll use misdirection if he has to, channeling his complaining urges towards something less important in order to obfuscate his true concerns or intentions. It's a win-win scenario as far as he's concerned--he still gets to vent somehow, and he gets to keep his true intentions to himself. And hey, complaining is just a way to pass the time while you're waiting, right? But if things get serious enough, he knows when he should freeze and wait there in the dark, biding his time. He knows how he usually behaves and he knows what people expect of him, and it's when he gets a grip on himself and uses what he is to his advantage that he's at his most dangerous. He sees no problem in kicking up some kind of dramatic scene for use as a distraction or to cause people to underestimate him. (Dignity? Who cares?) Everything has its own series of costs and benefits. If he manages to calm down enough to think, he's capable of weighing those costs and benefits with surprising coldness. He's not inclined towards sentimentality, and his priority is simply to ensure his own continued survival. He's not particularly loyal to anyone or anything other than himself and Haru, who isn't here right now. He's friendly enough, but there's a line between "friendly with someone" and "actually trusts someone" that he'll not cross easily.

In "things you'd put on a character sheet" terms, he's dealing with low Clarity and high Wyrd at this point in his life, which has led to some oddities. He's developed some issues surrounding doorways and passing through them properly, which has come off to most in his freehold as a weird fae thing, the result of having spent all that time in the Hedge on his own. It's rooted in practicality; he is still not comfortable with being seven feet tall, and he got badly stuck in a doorway once, breaking the tip off of one of his horns in the process. Yet sometimes...it is actually the weird fae thing like everyone thinks and he'll feel like he has to inspect the doorway or salt a threshhold or something else odd before he can pass through it safely.

Powers:
Jules has a variety of abilities related to his status as a Changeling. Perhaps the most important of these is his fae mien and its accompanying Mask. His time in Faerie saw him serving as a gargoyle, and many of those traits stuck with him upon his return. The Mask, a sort of protective bit of magic, prevents ordinary humans from seeing Jules as he really is--they only see him as a human. The Mask is thorough enough that it will mask the presence of additional limbs like his wings and tail, even if his tail falls off in a fit of panic. (And that tail can and will fall off if he panics; his Keeper thought it was funny and so there was a little cursing going on...) It's possible for his Mask to falter to a certain extent--on a good day some might be able to see his true nature either temporarily or permanently if the conditions are right (children, drunkards at the full moon, seventh son of a seventh son, people with two different colored eyes, people who have slept in a cemetery on a grave, anything otherwise appropriately fairy-tale-esque, etc). He can also perform a pledge called the Oath of Rose and Thorn, which would allow a mortal to see any Changeling as they really are--but be unable to say anything about it to another. One of the conditions would also be that whoever he performs the ritual for must do him a favor. Other supernaturals might also be able to pierce the Mask through other means. Jules's Mask is faulty even on a good day and his shadow tends to betray him, and aboard the ship, which is very much what he'd consider to be a Fae space, it's likely to just switch off automatically.

Changelings have separate Seemings and Kiths depending on what sort of role they served in Faerie. Jules's Seeming is that of a Darkling, a creature of darkness. Being a Darkling also gives him a bonus as far as being stealthy is concerned, and if he's trying to hide, he'll be difficult to find. There's also a drawback to being a Darkling, and that's that his magic won't be as strong if he uses it during the day, especially if he's in the presence of the sun. The longer he's been a Changeling, the more sensitive he's gotten to light, especially that from the sun. His Kith is a Lurkglider, giving him the Kith blessing of the Gargyole's Grace. He can fall up to 100 yards and not take any damage from said fall. He also has wings, though his wingspan is a tremendous one foot (a full twelve inches if he stretches) and can't fly. His Keeper messed with him in particular and due to his high strung nature, caused his tail to fall off when he panics. He will regrow the tail completely in a couple of weeks, which is very inconvenient and will make him whine a lot.

As a Changeling, he relies upon Glamour to use most of his active powers. Glamour is a substance that's harvested from human emotion. Just being in the presence of humans experiencing strong emotions is enough for Jules to sort of skim off the excess. It's unlikely that this would be noticed, especially since Jules isn't the sort to try to repeatedly harvest heavily from the same people--that's the sort of thing that would get him noticed. He feels like a leech when he's got to harvest Glamour, but a guy's got to do what a guy's got to do in order to survive. Glamour can also be regained through eating Goblin Fruit, and once more, since Jules sees the ship as a Fae space, he'd very likely assume the food would function in the same way Goblin Fruit might.

He's got the following Contracts:
Jack's Breath: Can lower the temperature in a room. Takes less Glamour if he can hear someone shiver or taste someone's sweat. just as disturbed by the sweat as you are

Fickle Fate: Temporarily worsens the target's luck. If he tries to use it on the same person in less than an hour, it'll rebound and hit him instead.

Favored Fate: Temporarily improves the target's luck. If he tries to use it on the same target again before the sun rises or sets, the target is guaranteed to fail.

Creeping Dread: Can incite fear in a target. It requires less Glamour if he's trying to frighten people into his dwelling.

Night's Subtle Distractions: This allows Jules to avoid notice by enhancing physical conditions that would limit perception. Shadows are darker, background noises are louder, and even background scents can mask Jules's scent. It requires less Glamour if he's outside and it's nighttime when he uses this.

Balm of Unwakeable Slumber - Renders a target extremely difficult to wake up. You can move them around, make loud noises, etc., and they won't rouse. Injury, however, will cause them to wake. If a target is asleep in their own bed between sunrise and sunset, this requires less Glamour.

Boon of the Scuttling Spider - Jules can run along walls and ceilings the way a spider would. He is the worst Spider-Man who knows nothing of responsibility If it's a stone or wood wall outdoors and at night, it requires less Glamour.

He has also, in a fit of terrible decision-making skills at a Goblin Market and an attempt to be more helpful to his motley in one particularly extenuating sent of circumstances, picked up a single Goblin Contract:
Fool's Gold - An object granted by the changeling is made to appear much more valuable, but those duped by this contract will remember exactly who gave it to them when the spell wears off.

He also has the following Merits:
- Iron Stamina: He's got stamina to spare, allowing him to keep going long after others might have fallen to exhaustion.
- Perfect Stillness: Capable of staying absolutely still for long periods of time, even in positions others might find uncomfortable.
- Iron Stomach: He can eat just about anything; he's far less likely to get sick off of spoiled food than a normal person.
- Trained Observer: What it says on the tin--he's been trained in the art of observation and will make note of the most relevant details of a scene when he's actively trying to observe it. He just has to chill enough to actually remember to do this
- Mantle (Winter): Proof of his standing with the Winter Court; it's a little cooler standing near him than it would be standing anywhere else in the room. This Mantle is noticeably weak for someone with his current standing in the Winter Court.
- Hob Kin: For whatever reason, hobgoblins register him as one of their own. Gives him bonuses when trying to bargain or otherwise deal with hobgoblins.

Because his Wyrd is a little high these days, he has unfortunately for everyone acquired the ability Incite Bedlam. To quote the sourcebook: "By calling up his own extreme emotions, the changeling can channel that energy into a desired emotional response and send it surging through those around him, overwhelming nearby targets with highly concentrated passions and urges." It cannot be used often in the least and would burn off a tremendous amount of Glamour along with tiring him out after, so he would prefer not to.

Outside of his supernatural abilities, he's extremely good with computers (five dots on the character sheet good), albeit with a criminal bent to that. He's capable of both forging new identities and stealing existing ones. He has committed crypto fraud and will probably continue to commit crypto fraud.

Dependents:
He is not responsible enough to care for anything else and probably couldn't even keep one of those air plants you don't have to do anything to alive, so no

Character Name: Mina Mongoose
Canon Name: Sonic the Hedgehog (Archie Comics)
Age: 17

OC, AU, or CRAU History:
This old app has her history

Personality:
On the outside, Mina Mongoose is a cheerful girl who has managed to survive numerous takeovers of the planet and her home. On the outside, she's excitable and curious with a love of singing and a hatred of computers (she just finds using computers boring, even if its needed). She enjoys being a caretaker at times, watching over younger kids and would happily tell stories if need be. On the inside is a fire-forged hero, created by mistakes and a desire to do good.

The Mina here is vastly different from her Prime Universe counterpart. Where the original Mina suffered from being shy and a lack of confidence, this Mina accidentally found the strength to push forward and become a better person. Getting involved in the adventures of the Freedom Fighters made Mina discover her own adventurous spirit, realizing right and wrong and learning that doing good for the sake of doing good felt... well, good.

This Mina isn't pushed by a desire to win Sonic's heart, innocent and misguided as it was, but instead to make up for mistakes she made in her early days as she believes that she could have saved King Acorn and believed that she could have protected herself and not tried to (poorly) attempt suicide after getting touched by the alternate Robotnik. This is tempered by her friendship by Sally, who has repeatedly told her that both incidents aren't her fault and that heroics can be very messy.

Mina's greatest regrets and failures was the death of the copy Tails and the supposed deaths of Sonic and Shadow. Mina believed that the copy Tails could have been saved with her magic, but was reassured that even with Mogul defeated, that Tails would have disappeared. With Sonic and Shadow, Mina misjudged how powerful how powerful the Dial would be and would have tried something else. Both incidents have only spurred her on, vowing to protect everyone she could.

Powers:
* Basic Skills - Mina has a number of simple skills though living in both Knothole and Castle Acorn as well as working alongside the Freedom Fighters. She is capable of hand-to-hand combat and swordplay as well as a measure in using computers (though she found it boring). She's also capable of cooking, cleaning and other simple housework. She's also an amazing singer.

* Super Speed - The initial gift granted by Mammoth Mongul, this allows Mina to run at speeds high enough to run over water with ease, possibly meaning speeds over speed of sound.

* Chaos Magic - Through various incidents in her time as a Freedom Fighter, Mina has a massive pool of Chaos Energy, effectively becoming a living Chaos Emerald of sorts. So far, she can fire bolts of energy and have greater healing potential. She can grant this power to others temporarily, even grant them a temporary super mode, but this drains her greatly. Due to the effects of this place, the Super mode can be much weaker and not make the user invulnerable.

* Robotic Arm - Mina's right arm was roboticized by Dr. Eggman's touch, but held back by her magics. This gives her a measure of super strength. It is also coated in the Source of All, granting her visions and boosting her power, though this is mostly dulled down to a Spider-Sense-like ability.

* Sword of Acorns - a relic of the Acorn Royal Family given to Mina by Princess Sally made from the Source of All. It can be used to free people from brainwashing via magical or mechanical means and can amplify magic power. It also has a bad habit of possessing people. Though the sword looks normal to a two-foot Mobian like Mina, in the hands of a human, it would be very tiny.

Character Name: Æn'kae (ān (as in rain) - kē (key))
Canon Name: Star Trek (STO: Legacy of Romulus)
Age: 23

OC History:
  • Full Write Up (This also includes appearance, more in depth personality, etc)

  • A Romulan/Vulcan hybrid, he was born on Romulus, but doesn't remember it since the whole star system was destroyed when he was a toddler.
  • He grew up in an orphanage with other Romulan and Reman orphans, run by both Vulcan and Romulan teachers, many of them formerly part of the Reunification Movement.
  • A Vulcan named Skisan took him as a ward when the orphanage closed and they moved to a wildlife preserve, where Æn'kae trained under the guidance of the staff while taking veterinary and general medicine classes.
  • He only left when Skisan was arrested for past work with the reunification movement, joining the Romulan Republic along with a close friend.
  • While there he met most of the people he's come to consider his closest friends and worked mostly in his capacity as a medic.
  • A friend of his pushed the rescue of Skisan through, admittedly partially motivated by a personal vendetta against the Tal'Shiar officer involved
  • Several of Æn'kae's friends were injured during the rescue mission and one was killed, but they succeeded in rescuing not just Skisan, but most of the other prisoners, including an elderly Klingon who for whatever reason took a liking to Æn'kae.
  • After the rescue mission Æn'kae stayed with the Republic and had the privilege of helping one of the teams that explored possible colony planets.
  • While he has still been working as a medic since the Tal Shiar is still a very real threat to the Republic, Æn'kae has also started studying the wildlife on New Romulus any time he gets a chance to visit.
Personality:
  • A bit of an anxious mess
  • Crushes at the drop of a hat. Unlikely to act on said crushes
  • Incredibly earnest, he seems honest for a Romulan, but in reality he just lies like a Vulcan
  • Overly Eager to please. Expects correction but not praise. However he will light up like the sun if praised
  • Very good with animals
  • He just wanted to be a veterinarian, what's with all this adventure stuff anyway?
  • Vegetarian, not likely to veer from this, even if it means going hungry
  • Pantheistic, believes everything is connected and part of the divine
  • Not quite a pacifist, but close enough that he will try to talk over fighting and will take injuries while avoiding causing permanent harm if he does fight
  • Likes: Any and all animals, mountains and woodlands, fluffy stories, cool colors, mushrooms, berries
  • Dislikes: Travel, too many people, cities are the WORST, Cold Weather, conflict (real and fictional), neon colors, noise
Powers:
  • Vulcanoids tend to have heightened senses compared to human standard and to be 2-3x human standard for strength/speed. Æn'kae runs on the lower end of that for strength, but closer to the upper end for speed. Since he's part Vulcan he can supplement meditation for sleep to a limited degree but he will have signs of sleep deprivation if he does it too much.
  • He has Vulcan style low level telepathy. It is untrained and thus very weak/short range. Since he is more culturally Romulan than Vulcan and doesn't try to suppress his emotions, the empathy side manifests in a way that it doesn't typically in healthy Vulcans. He most often picks up and shares general vibes and some emotions. (He often subconsciously uses this with animals.) By all rights he could technically perform a mind-meld. (Given the whole untrained thing, it would be ill-advised and he certainly won't be volunteering.)
Dependents:
  • A young Targ named Roj. She is like a very large, very furry, very spiky pig. And she is a very good girl.

Character Name: Donatello "Donnie" Hamato
Canon Name: Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Age: 17

CRAU (?) History:
Several years ago, Donnie found himself pulled from New York and onto the spacefaring ship of a group of Vehicons and the slowly growing crew of Cybertronians, among other hapless otherworlders. It was a lot to acclimate to, being away from home and family for the first time in his life, although being surrounded by giant sentient robots helped to take away the initial ache and fear. He wasn't alone for long, his brother Leo joining him not long after, although they were quick to realize the temporal variations between them and potentially anyone who came through the R2's spacebridge.

Being two years younger than his former 'twin' and a year younger than his previously younger brother was difficult a detail to ignore, but brotherly bonds still held strong, especially as the boys partook in mission after growingly dangerous mission. Such experiences have not left Donnie unchanged, finding himself blessed (or cursed, depending on how one looked at it) with powers he never asked for, responsibilities he'd never dreamed of, and constantly strained emotionally and mentally. He'd come to start loathing the Primes that Cybertronians held such high regard for, convinced that they were the ultimate meddlers, drawing everyone into problematic circumstances that they expected others to fix. While being associated and allied with one of the universe's most hated races did make things difficult, Donnie did like being able to make so many acquaintances and friends so freely, something they were a bit more restricted in doing back home.

He could do without the Fae, however. He unwittingly painted a target on himself when helping a friend liberate a human that was considered fae property, soon learning just how personally they took such offenses. It didn't quite stop him from getting involved, in trying to make things right, trying to help others because not doing anything wasn't ever an option for Donatello Hamato.

And then the Fae finally caught up with him, deciding that the best vengeance was to twist him and his friend, rewriting their memories to make them believe the fae was where they had always been with, and their family and friends, monstrous enemies who meant to take them away. But family bonds were stronger than any fae magic, and their memories weren't completely erased, leaving them with a chance and eventually, through the efforts of their dear ones, restoration.

Things don't magically get better, and while Donnie's been able to rid himself of the physical alterations of the fae, it's been hard to completely forget the fake memories and associated emotions, not when real memories and emotions are so tightly knit with them. Still, he's gotten a lot better. He's learned to keep moving forward, finding strength through his brothers and friends, and the desire to be better. But it's also out of a desire to stop being pushed around by whatever powers that be.

Personality:
The resident genius of his brothers who knows it all too well, Donnie isn't inclined to let anyone forget it. A nerd and proud of it, Donatello is a lover of science, botany, libraries and gaming, but is not above having fun with his brothers and enjoying the opportunity to dance. While he does care for his family and friends, at times how they act clashes with his ego and how he believes things should be. He has a very specific mindset of how to operate and it often doesn't mesh very well with the lax attitudes of his siblings. He has tried to address this problem with the same approach he takes with technology, attempting to fix things. In such he's learned the hard way that he does in some way appreciate the way his brothers are, as they are, even if they do drive him a little crazy. Still, Donnie has his own brand of recklessness and more than a little penchant for violence.

Donnie is not an extremely touchy-feely person. He can at times be aloof, emotionally detached from things that may otherwise tug at his brothers' heartstrings. This does not mean he is emotionless, but rather he has difficulties identifying feelings, and at times has trouble expressing them genuinely. His personal boundaries are often tested by his family's clinginess, although simultaneously they're the only ones who have free rein to intrude on those boundaries. There's no doubt that he cares deeply about his family, which includes his brothers, his father, and their human friend April, and he would do anything for them. He's come to better respect Raphael, who has also grown more into his role as a leader. In sharing middle-child status with Leonardo, Donnie and Leo tend to flip-flop between rivals and partners in crime. When it comes to his little brother Michelangelo, Donnie's gotten very protective of him and the two seem to have a strange sort of relationship that allows them to work well together, two chaotic forces synced with common goals. As with such relationships, their bonds have been tried and tested time and again, but have always proven to come out strong. Needless to say, if anything happens to or gets between him and his family, there is probably nothing Donnie wouldn't do in order to save them and preserve those precious to him.

His family is his strength as much as a crutch. For as long as he can remember, they've always been together, and perhaps foolishly he's convinced himself that that will always be a constant. That all dramatically changed in his being brought to the R2, alone and with no real promise of going home and seeing any of his family again. Eventually he'd been reunited with his brothers, only to have one taken away, but that pain is one shared, and the constant fear for losing the remaining, either to the space bridge's wiles or due to the unspoken dangers they continue to encounter in their missions, is a very real one.

As a consistent overachiever who just wants to be acknowledged for his brilliance, Donnie is just as quick to distance himself from failures, forgoing any responsibility he may have had whenever something inevitably goes horribly wrong. He is very confident in his tech and overconfident in his intelligence and abilities overall, and gets very concerned when something isn't working correctly because that just isn't something that can be allowed to happen. At times his vicious overthink gets the better of him, cycling too much information and not enough output.

Since he and his family live in secret beneath the city streets of New York, the boy has had to make most of his tech from scratch, having quite the aptitude for it. He has every reason to be proud of his achievements and has engineered and created amazing things, as well as a lot of things that teenagers probably shouldn't be creating. Naturally he gets very attached to his technological creations and considering that most of the time he's had free rein over his projects (likely because no one else ever cares or understands what he's doing), he's never considered possible boundaries that should not be crossed, or whether or not his weapons are a bit overkill. Quite simply, no one's ever told him 'no.' Sometimes he'll genuinely wow his brothers, which really isn't too difficult to do but he relishes it all the same. What he'll never get enough of is praise, recognition for his accomplishments, and if it's from adults then all the better. For most of his life he's equated his usefulness by output, what he can bring to the table and offer his family. When mystic abilities came into the picture, Donnie felt threatened by its potential and upset that he couldn't make heads or tails of it. He's since learned that his family always appreciates him no matter what, and that magic and science can be stronger together, as he exhibits with his use of his mystic-tech.

Powers:

  • Ninpō - Because of his family line, Donnie has manifested the ancient power of the Hamato, ninpō, specifically as a brand of Mystic-Tech. He can form any device or weapon he can conceive, sometimes to devastating proportions. These appear as glowing violet outlines of hardlight but still respond as solid material and energy as applicable. Usage ranges from extensions to his chosen melee weapon or materialization of armor, and along more extreme lines, even an entire arsenal. His only limitation really is his imagination. In this way he can also create a battle shell in lieu of his usual ones, which perhaps isn't too unlike being able to channel his power into a similarly styled object to create a staff, both appearing as one would expect of an actual physical object than the translucent lines of energy.

  • Amalgamous Prime's Gift - Essentially, it is the ability to transmute things. Donnie can transform objects into other things, limited only by his size. While he can't directly use it to change living organisms, he can potentially change things from a chemical or matter aspect if he focuses enough.

  • Keystone Gauntlets - Originally a gift from the first Star People, ever since their activation and syncing to Donnie, they've become a part of, and now basically are his arms. A mystical stonelike substance, they can be shape-shifted to suit Donnie's needs, and although he can still feel with them, it gives him some imperviousness like armor. Because of its original nature, it allows him to interface directly with technological systems although more complicated ones tend to necessitate more focus, effectively having him tune out the rest of the world. The Gauntlets' true capability relies upon its wielder, unlocking further power to accomplish something, but at the cost of more of Donnie's flesh. Thus far, it has claimed both his arms.

  • Nexus Prime's Gift - As one of those thanked by the Wizard of Forms, Donnie was given an upgrade for use with Cybertronian disguise tech, not that Donnie makes much use of it. He likes his turtliness!

  • Forest Warden Novice - After encountering an ancient alien scroll, Donnie was touched by the power of the Arachae, granting him understanding of natural terrain and its vegetation as he'd never known it before, giving him advantages in learning about places so long as there are plants to commune with. There are passive uses and skills that can be made use of in battle, allowing him to defend and attack with nature itself. Potentially he can also enlist in an additional boost from nature itself, although maintaining it for any length of time takes a toll on his body.

Ferlarys | Forgotten Realms/Neverwinter MMO | OC

seriously, I'm not sure how to tag her canon, exactly...anyway.

OOC INFO
Name: Cherry
Contact: [plurk.com profile] CherryFlight

IC INFO
Character Name: Ferlarys
Canon Name: Dungeons & Dragons (Forgotten Realms)/Neverwinter (sort of. She was created for the MMO but its plot is more of a backdrop to her story as I've written her anyway.)
Age: 45 (as of 1492 DR)

OC, AU, or CRAU History:
here

Personality:
-Nurturing and empathetic, to a fault (mind flayer larvae???)
Ferlarys is the sort who needs to take care of everyone in need. She was born into a militaristic society, and while that may mold many into hardened, jaded warriors, her takeaway was that the unit came before the soldier. She will even ignore her own needs to see to that of those around her, especially those she now calls her clan or those she sees as helpless or innocent. (again, mind flayer larvae???) She may edge into pushiness, too, at her worst, since she needs to be needed.

-Strong sense of justice
Where did this tendency to put herself second end for the first time? At the injustice inherent in the forced qallim. Had Abeir and Toril still been separate, had they still been in danger of being enslaved by the dragons again, she may have forced herself to go through with it. But, because it was unjust in every way, she refused.

-Curiosity
And she discovered that injustice by questioning the world around her, and endeavoring to learn about it on its own terms, rather than through the lens of a culture from another world. At its worst? What else--nosiness! Hopefully she's wise enough to catch herself before she pushes too far, though. When she doesn't...

-Insightful, but overthinks results/zeroes in on wrong thing
With her fixation on healing, and that encompassing more than just physical health, she can occasionally bring an analytical bent to emotional problems. Sometimes, this leads her away from the truth because she's focused too hard on the healing and not on simply hearing them. With Nymzen, it took her a few nights to realize she only needed to be there when he was in a crisis, and there was nothing she could say or do that would make him feel better faster. (turns out, he'd respond well to humor, but Ferlarys isn't given to humor under stress) She can also sometimes cut to the chase too fast. Nice coping mechanism you have there--wait what do you mean you'd rather I ignore it?

-Protective. Overprotective, even.
She tends to get a little too into standing up for people. She's gotten better about speaking for people when they never asked and are perfectly capable of it, but the zeal's there. Aside from taking it too far, she's a total mama bear about people, even if they were her enemies a second ago. She cannot abide watching people suffer. (and her husband's the paladin!)

-Perfectionistic, for herself only. "Try hard or not at all"
This one is Tymanther's fault. Most dragonborn tend to come away with this trait in some form. She always does her very best in every situation, which means you can rely on her to do something when she agrees to it. But it also means she burns herself out easily and bites off more than she can chew. See: deciding to dedicate herself to healing and trying to pick up mental health too.

Powers:
I'm going to assume she's nerfed to level 5, and will present her powers as they were then.

-Racial

Cold Resistance: As a silver-heritage dragonborn, Ferlarys shares her inclination to cold environments with them. Frigid temperatures don't bother her, unless they're cold beyond natural laws (for example, the environment of the Shadowfell) or at heavy extremes (if she falls into water while in an area affected by, say, the Ring of Winter, she will suffer hypothermia. The air itself, without water, in such an area will noticeably chill her.)

Ice Breath: She can breathe out a concentrated cone of frost--but whatever internal organ ejects the cooling agent needs to refill for several hours before she can do that again. Other than that, it can seep out here and there in small amounts, say, to frost the bottom of a drinking glass or freeze a wet rag to make an impromptu ice pack.

-Class

Primeval Awareness - Using nature magic, Ferlarys can sense the presence of certain creatures within a mile (or six, in her favored terrain of forests): aberrations, celestials, dragons, elementals, fey, fiends, and undead. She does not know where in this radius they are or how many, just that she's sharing this space with something other.

Dependents:
Arrow, a friendly gray hawk. Looks like a goshawk of some sort, but definitely on the small end of that family. He's a perfectly normal hawk, it's just that she can cast a Speak With Animals spell to give him more complex commands than a typical falconer could.

Canon Name: For Small Creatures Such As We/Noxian Expanse
Age: 33

OC, AU, or CRAU History: OC.
Here is a link to her write up.
* Born on a generation ship, where her parents mostly ignored her to pay attention to her younger sister, who was not an albino mutant. She took to vent crawling, where she saw stuff she shouldn't see, but also got used to tight spaces, figurative and literal. The gravity on the ship was >1 earth gravity, which makes her short, but also dense and stronger than she looks.

* : Got a scholarship to get a medical license, and used it to leave the generation ship at first opportunity. She took whatever jobs she could (she was a little naive because she still thought everything worked like a generation ship where 'we're all in this together' was the motto. So she got taken advantage of and got some pretty ugly postings--mining installations and the like. The stuff she saw and the way she was treated made her want to be her own captain a) to be free of other's rules for ONCE In her life, but also so that anyone serving under her would live better.

* She saved up money and bought a ship, which was basically about to be junked. She fixed it up herself and started small jobs hauling with it and hired three crewmembers. Her first was Rauth, the Unsouled, who could do SO much better than her or her ship, but all he wanted was a place to be left alone. Siefer, who is the muscle and her chief weapons guy, and Daime, who was the hydroponics and food quartermaster.

* Her missions got better as she got more resources, and the ship began to make a name for itself but she kept the hazard stripe junk look, because sometimes it's good to be underestimated, right?

* Her last mission ended in disaster: Siefer very injured, Daime upset and Rauth...up and left, because as a result of the mission she had to make a deal to contract the ship and crew out to the military. She swore she'd never do it and...it was the only way. Wasn't it?

Personality:
* Optimistic. Listen, generation ships are kind of like a cult and though she ran the hell away from that the first chance that she got, she still remains naive and hopeful. She recognizes that stuff in her world is kind of terrible, but she believes in change and wants to make it better.

* Peacemaker If someone committed a crime back on the ship she grew up in, the community came together to decide the punishment and they could be AWFUL. She would much rather make peace and have everyone get along. She's not a pacifist--she's used her lasgun more than once with Siefer's training, but she'd really rather just everyone get along. She would 100% be pro Get Along Shirt.

* Sassy? One thing that optimists have when they deal with a screwed up world is an appreciation of sarcasm and irony. This isn't the dark humor, but more of a gentle 'I refuse to take things too seriously' lightness.

* Despite being a captain of her own ship and a refugee from a generation ship, she really really wants to belong. Not to a weird cult like her parents, but to have people. All her life, even back on the ship, the mutation that made her albino made her stand out. She just wanted to belong, even if it was with other outcasts like herself. And she'd had that, until this last mission.

Powers:
Like most of her kind she has machine telepathy--she can talk to computers and any machinery. It's one way she repairs the ship and gets it to do things people think it can't do. This isn't infallible but it does give her a high rate of success at machine repair. She considers it an extension of her medical training--healing both people and machines!

She's stronger than she looks--not superhuman, but because of the low gravity she grew up in, she has very dense bones and is much stronger than she looks.

She's also a doctor with long experience in trauma surgeries, so...there's that! She also is pretty good with a laspistol.

Dependents:

I am BEGGING you to give her a plushy of Rauth the Unsouled, her very stoic crewmember who is a walking lineface.

Name: SMF/Ace

IC INFO
Character Name: Webmind
Canon Name: The WWW Trilogy
Age: Canon age: 3 months old. Time spent in CRAU: 8 months OOC, 4 months IC. (so, total is 7 months)

OC, AU, or CRAU History:
- During his time as a Voidtrecker, Webmind was in the gray zone between 'obviously not human' and 'had a very different definition of "normal life on Earth"'; he bonded with certain Voidtreckers intellectually; he tried to help solve the case when a fellow passenger was murdered.
- He participated in various world-saving missions, if perhaps not in as grandstanding or violent ways as some; and he attempted to bond with the Voidtrecker Express itself, seeking to relate to it as a fellow Artificial Intelligent/Emotionally Aware being. (While it was not the only case where Webmind bonded with another digital being, this was the most constant presence.)
- Shortly after the train issued an in-game FAQ session (aftermath linked here), revealing among other things that time was passing back on their worlds, and that it could not return them to those worlds safely, Webmind disappeared from the train, and was not recovered before game finale.

For more extensive/canon history, see his Save Our Earth app, which is bulleted but Long.

Personality:
Webmind is cheerful, inquisitive, and has (once he's advanced far enough to recognize what that is) a near-endless faith in the good of the human race. He outright describes himself as "not disposed to guile". You could also accurately say he's a being of literally endless curiosity and energy (as both cracking Caitlin's email password to learn more about her and being able to balance millions of interactions with people second-to-second can attest, respectively), or perhaps the ultimate extrovert. On the flipside, this means he also strongly dislikes the idea of being alone, of there being no one to talk to. He's always more than happy to help people (as long as helping someone does not entail doing harm to someone else), though his social conscious on how, exactly, to speak with people, takes time to grow throughout the series. Originally content just to interact with the world (more specifically with Caitlin), his sense of who to care for, ability to reason why to care about them, and effectiveness at doing so has also improved over the course of the books. One of the series' messages is that both the complexity and morality of consciousness increases over time, and Webmind exemplifies that quite thoroughly.

Despite in-series concerns, he does feel a full range of emotions - we never see him display anger, but nervousness (like when writing that first message to Caitlin), fear (of death - particularly what creative hackers could come up with simply for "the glory" of killing him), bemusement (like when he's oh-so-politely helping Caitlin woo Matt), and shame (upon getting the memories of his other self back when China lifts the Firewall for the second time) all do show up. Specific likes - the fictional singer Lee Amodeo on the lighter side, support of gay marriage on a more serious note - are all influenced by the people he forges connections with (Caitlin for the first, Shoshana and Max for the second). Dislikes, such as of the structure of thought enforced by the military, come up as well.

Judging solely by actions, it would be far too easy to paint him as controlling (like the one interviewer does, calling Caitlin a puppet), self-centered (there are several times where he just doesn't listen to the other person, since he's using audio snipping to pay attention to the critical parts of what they're saying and shunting his attention elsewhere for the rest of it), or a source of potential mass hysteria (by drawing the world's best hackers to six hubs and, again, deposing China's Communist government). The book does not linger too heavily on these views, however, though they are pointed out - and Webmind, being both pragmatic and an empiricist at heart (you can thank Caitlin for that), explains that taking over the world or trying to harm people in general just isn't worthwhile, for any involved. It's made plain that, apart from just finding individuals in general interesting, he's come to value life, and any instance where he has harmed people (or allowed them to come to harm through inaction, as in the case of Hannah Stark), haunts him. He strives to do better by humanity, and to keep doing so over time.

Powers:
- As a matter of being made appable in a train-based setting, Webmind had his mind condensed (safely!) into an android body. This is necessary to keep him mobile on this ship setting as well.
- He also wears an SCA as a result of having been tethered to the Voidtrecker Express, but as discussed on the TDM it is defunct.
- Due to him having extensive knowledge sourced from all information uploaded to the web as of 2012 (and a habit of looking for quality citations...), any potential he has for fourth walling people will be constrained by a Permissions Post.

Dependents:
None I can think of. I'd love it if he got an Emotional Support Doll of Caitlin Decter (the human who first realized his presence on the world wide web and reached out to him), though!

Sample:
Webmind's Noanga TDM entry (and subsequent threads) is thisaway.

Niko ('Silver') | Pokemon | AU

OOC INFO
Name: Fenix

IC INFO
Character Name: Niko Shinoda ('Silver')
Canon Name: Pokemon Gameverse
Age: 21

OC, AU, or CRAU History:
AU Info Here
- Born Kamoko Shinoda to Giovani and his wife, Maria.
- Maria died two years later in birth; Kamoko's brother was lost as well.
- Kamoko was raised to exacting standards as the daughter of a Gymleader, a business man AND a crime boss, more so once it was known how smart she was.
- At the age of 6, she was betrothed to one Haru Nakamura of the Umiyari yakuza group up in Sinnoh. Though the pair only met once, their fathers more or less kept in contact with each other.
- 1996 is the year everything changed. In no short order, she briefly met Satoru Oak outside her father's gym, and then, following the events of the first game, her father vanishes during a police raid on the Gym. In the aftermath, Ariana steps up to help raise the girl, who by now is going by 'Silver' because 'it's cool'.
- Shortly after Ariana vanishes a few years later, a 14-year-old Silver travels to Johto with the idea of buying a Starter pokemon and journeying there to start with. This is partly fuelled by the idea that Johto Starters looked cooler than Kanto's and partly because she thought them stronger. Silver arrives in New Bark town and witnesses the Leaving Ceremony, watching on with envy and bitterness. Three days later, driven by entitlement, Silver steals a totodile and from there, events of the Pokemon Crystal Games take place.
- To summerise, though, Silver teleports to the outskirts of Cherrygrove, where she runs into Kris and Kotone. Here, they battle Kris for the first time, declaring that a pokemon like her cyndaquil is wasted on her. Silver wins and after rubbing it in, continues to travel Johto both seeking strong pokemon and coming to terms with the name Niko and the idea that they are a 'they' and not a 'she'. Along the way, they briefly bump into the girls at Bellsprout Tower, then battle Kotone at the Ruins of Alph, run into Kris again outside Azalea where this time they lose, see Kotone and Kris at the Burned Tower, though they only battle Kotone while Kris watches on.
- They again bump into Kris outside the Olivine Gym, and bitch to her about how 'weak the Gymleader is for closing the Gym to take care of a sick pokemon', never mind said pokemon is one of the Lighthouse pokemon used to guide ships into the harbour safely. They have another battle, with Niko winning this one.
- While on Cianwood Island, Niko gets wind of a newly caught powerful sneasel, and steals it from its trainer.
- While sneaking into the Rocket base at Mahogany, they run into the Champion, Clair, who alongside Lance, is investigating the happenings in the area on behalf of Pryce. Niko and Clair battle and Niko loses, badly, forcing them to scuttle plans to stop team Rocket. Unbeknown to Niko, this marks a turning point in how they think about pokemon (and even more unknown to them, Lance being there prevented Clair from doing a murder.)
- Niko retreats to Goldenrod and ends up tailing Kris and Kotone, only to get into a fight with them just outside the Goldenrod Tunnel. Again, they lose and bitter and angry, they storm off, ostensibly to do some much-needed soul searching.
- Victory Road sees them lose, yet again, to Kris. Annoyed and unable to figure out what they are doing Wrong, Niko retreats back to Blackthorn to have a talk with one of the Dragon Clan elders and ends up doing some training with them under Lance. They don't stay for long, as they head back to Kanto, and while training their golbat, they end up being chased off a cliff by an angry ursarang. In a panic, they release the pokemon, only to find it's now a crobat.
- It's around this time that Niko moves in to make use of the Rockets. Complicated feelings aside, the criminal organisation is useful, and it's a part of life that Niko knows.
- Month's later, they end up facing Kris at Mount Moon in a battle they lose but rather than be upset like the new Champion expects, they take the loss to their rival with grace, proving how much they have grown up, or at least enough to have control over their temper.
- They gain ownership a baby lugia following a skirmish with poachers.
- They re-gained control of the Rockets following a modified version of Let's Go Pikachu Eevee that saw Archer make a power-play to push Niko out from their role as Boss Rocket, only for the man to end up in jail and Niko to remain the shadowy head while presenting a clean enough image to the outside world.
- And then months later, they visit the man in jail and learn that the betrothal contract is ironclad.
- Ten days later, they marry Haru up at Sinnoh, and then a year and a day later, the are truly married in a ceremony fit for a Gymleader.
- They are parent to a pair of three-year-old twin girls by the name of Natsuki and Satsuki.

Personality:
Right from birth, Niko, birthname Kamoko, was pitted against Giovanni's expectations, and following the death of their mother and brother in childbirth, Giovanni's grief and resentment of the girl who survived. In a matriarchal society such as Arkea, being born a girl should have been enough. It wasn't, not when Giovanni had wanted a son. Niko grew up knowing they were not enough, that no matter how well they excelled, they were measured against the what if's of a dead brother.

When Rocket collapsed and Giovanni abandoned them to the aftermath, Kamoko grew into Niko with a festering resentment in place of nurture and that resentment only grew when Ariana left them, too. By the time they left on their journey, they were an abrasive, entitled youth, contemptuous of weakness that they proved through bullying, theft, and mockery. But those cruelties were scaffolding designed to hide the hurt within, not a not foundation of things to come. Underneath, they longed for love, trust, and a chance to believe themselves worthy of the love of their father.

What they got was a chance to prove that they didn't need it; that other people could fill that void and could like them for who they are - even if who they are is a contradictory mess of a person still growing into who they are: a brass person with a heart of copper buried somewhere in all of the rust.

That contradiction is the heart of Niko: a predator’s grin masking the ache of abandonment and loneliness. A contempt for the world shielding the raw need for recognition and approval.

Somehow, they make everything - trainer, Gym Leader and protector of the Viridian Subregion, and Boss Rocket, work. Being all of that and making it work is something they take great pride in and Niko would give everything to keep their subregion safe, and it's not a stretch to say they are rather possessive about what is theirs. Never mind that Gym Leaders work closely with the Pokemon League and are seen as Law Abiding Citizens, and the Boss of a Crime Gang is mired in a life of crime and violence. Somehow, it works because Niko puts in the effort.

Somehow they are friends with Kris and Kotone despite how abrasive they can be and how they keep people at arms length despite calling Kris their best friend. Somehow, they have a crobat, an umbreon and a few other friendship based pokemon. Somehow they saw past the hurt and cruelty of youth and earned these pokemon and Niko delight's in the mindfuck that this presents to people who view them as too harsh and tyrannical.

Niko’s views on pokemon are best described as complicated. On one hand, they and their team have been through a lot, and they own a crobat—which you don’t get without friendship. Yet this friendship is unconventional, forged through trial and error, since Niko still largely believes Pokémon are things that exist to battle and be used. They push their team to be the strongest, though they are at least trying to think more about them than before. Yet that doesn’t erase the implied abuse or harsh treatment, nor that they demand perfection. Sure, they’re trying—but not in the way a typical trainer would.

They're not afraid to turn their pokemon on people, either. They know well the intimidation factor a gengar has, for example.

Niko’s relationship with Rocket is as complicated as everything else. As a child, they loved it: Rocket meant Giovanni, meant belonging. Then they hated it: Rocket meant abandonment, meant ruins they had to climb out of alone. Then, finally, it has its uses: Rocket is structure, muscle, and resources. When they took up the mantle of Boss, it was with a pragmatic shrug. Rocket was useful, so they would use it.

Their relationship with Haru is complicated in many, many ways, but Niko respects her greatly - she is more than just some pretty trophy wife, more than a tool of the Umiyari. She is her own person and Niko will do everything in their power to protect that. That she too was raised in crime is a bonus. That is just as smart and ruthlessly intelligent as them is an extra, not a flaw.

Also she's terrifying with knives.

Genta Kojima | Detective Conan/Magic Kaito | Fate/Grand Order Crossover AU

OOC INFO
Name: Usagi
Contact: [plurk.com profile] usagisquared and 'usagisquared' @ discord

IC INFO
Character Name: Genta Kojima
Canon Name: Detective Conan. Crossover with Fate/Go
Age: 18

OC, AU, or CRAU History:
Genta's DetCo history follows Manga Canon up until the events of Umizaru Island, but is spread across three years. Two original stories involving him meeting the original/pseudo original characters Kiyoiri and Koji (key members of the AU) occur at this time, but he otherwise lives in the same way as before then. As he is not a major feature in those stories beyond that note, they are not being summarized.
As of the autumn he turns 10, the AU follows FGo Canon as noted here under 'Plot'; noted differences/focuses are listed below.
A rough AU timeline, indicating major players per Singularity event, is located Here.

Genta and the other DCMK/AU cast arrived at Chaldea through a mildly deceptive ploy for Haibara Ai (then working at Chaldea) to see them before the likely end of the world. He was ten at the time. Meeting the Crypters Ophelia and Pepe, they wereld given a small tour before an explosion sabotaged those intended for the incoming Grand Order. Per the game's canon, Genta and his friends were then Rayshifted into Fuyuki of 2001.
In resolving the singularity at Fuyuki, Genta and the others became bound via the Spiritron remains of 'Olga Marie Animusphere' as 'Masters' for Chaldea. They were required, for the sake of the world, to travel to singularities and resolve them. Their first major singularity in France was tackled as a group; it was in the middle of this singularity that Genta accidentally freed the Heroic Spirit 'Chevalier D'Eon' from the enemy's control, binding them under Chaldea's contract.
Due to the chaos of this Singularity, Chaldea tested how few members of the group could go with Olga to support her existence in singularities. As it was determined two would suffice, Genta and Koji accompanied her and Mash to the 'Roman Singularity', or as Genta called it, 'the European Singularity', wherein he assisted Emperor Nero in reclaiming Rome from both its enemies and its revived ex-rulers. After this, as others began to bond with Heroic Spirits more fully, he primarily participated in minor singularities during the year of the Grand Order, up until the seventh and 'final' one.
At the final singularity in Babylon, it was determined the full team would be necessary. Genta, by now learning to hide his presence, assisted the others in the eventual fight against the Beast Tiamat, after which they were immediately thrust into a battle against Goetia and his Demonic Pillars in another, more cataclysmic singularity. While they succeded, Olga was reduced to Spiritrons to the point that she had to be preserved digitally ('Like a V-Pet...')...and Roman, the doctor who had been helping their team, was dead.
Despite the Grand Order resolving, Genta and the others were left in a buerocratic limbo due to the now missing year of time. During this time, the Caster Leonardo Da Vinci, who had helped Chaldea from the start with these missions, had the children tidy up further singularities known as Remnant Orders. Before the summer, Genta continued to only help with minor singularities-
Summer however, was a unique incident. For the summer, Caster Da Vinci arranged for an actual vacation through the cracks of paper work- a trip to Hawaii during which the children could reunite with their parents and families for a brief time. While successful, it of course became a singularity as well; a repeating loop of a single week, though Genta did not have to experience every single one. Ultimately, the singularity was resolved, and they were all allowed to return to Chaldea to finish what was necessary to truly leave.
Resolving the final remnant left standing- a singularity involving Abigail Williams, the town of Salem, and the elder god Cthulhu, the last few months of time were filled primarily with de-summoning the remaining Chaldean Heroic Spirits in anticipation of leaving. The children's things, his included, were gradually packed and brought to a vehicle known as the Shadow Border as they were told it would deliver everything to their homes after the fact. Technically this was true. Technically.
Unfortunately, at the turn of the new year, everything changed. When the new director arrived to take over, Genta and the others found themselves detained at gunpoint instead. It was a hostile takeover, one which turned on the new director as well. Caster Da Vinci was killed while ensuring everyone who survived the ensuing massacre- a handful of Chaldea's Staff, the new director, and of course the children- escaped to the Shadow Border, whereupon her 'daughter' of the same name revealed herself. This new Leonardo Da Vinci, a child of Genta's own age, quickly took control of the vehicle they were all to escape in, and pulled them between realities before the worst happened.
Where Canon implies these events only take one to two years, that is not the case here. What followed would cause Genta and the others to become stranded on a bleached planet for years to come- thus, the linked page noting all singularities he has taken part in. It would take far too long to summarize what has happened to him in full, but the cliff notes of importance are:
  • He eventually came to settle with the others at a magic island outside natural space called 'Wandering Sea', after helping his friends to stop two Lostbelts. At this time, they also successfully recovered the crypter 'Ophelia', preparing to nurse her back to health. Over time, she would eventually join Chaldea's efforts to save the world.
  • After struggling through a few Lostbelts, he came to develop a requitted crush on Da Vinci - though it would take a Summer Singularity to allow Da Vinci herself to realize that she wouldn't be living on borrowed time, and therefore gain the courage for them to make it official.
  • Eventually, Genta and his friends would finally take out the last Lostbelt and major threat to Humanity- ORT- only to find themselves locked out of Chaldea's original base of operations when they attempted to go back and restore the planet.
  • Thus, when Genta comes to the Noanga, he and his friends had been wandering the Bleached Earth, calling for trials to judge them and grant them access...

Personality:
  • The definition of the 'only sane man', except not really because he takes an awful lot of nonsense with a straight face. He's just got too skewed a line for what's normal these days. The Holy Grail grew legs and tore off like a rocket? Ok that's new but he can still deal.
  • Stability extends to others emotions too- if you need a shoulder to cry on, he's there. Though admittedly, he might also feel the need to point out if what you're crying over is kind of stupid and easily resolved. It's the core of who he is- someone who can find sense in the world at its wackiest.
  • As such, he finds it in him to care about every aspect of the world too, however small. It makes animals trust him more, and he doesn't abuse it- if anything, he just seeks to try and better look after them.
  • Still, he knows when it's important to fight. When things need to get serious- to get deadly, potentially. He prefers to talk things out where he can, but he can order the killing blow if need be.
  • Back to his kindness, he's rsther thoughtful these days. Genta used to be somewhat focused on his own interests, but he has always had a strong heart and a love for others. In his teens, he has now come to better learn to understand and encourage others in what makes them happy.
  • Genta is additionally quite smart. While he's no Kudo Shinichi, you don't spend as long as you do with the detective without learning the trade yourself. Genta likes to be certain in his deductions before saying anything, but fortunately...
  • He's quite intuitive. When Genta is certain, he's very certain. His Origin is 'Stability', which means his gut feelings are often quite on point. It makes him quite formidable in a pinch. As part of his Stability, Genta is also naturally very grounded; both in himself and who he is, and his morals and principles. This makes him very...
  • Stubborn. He can be somewhat bullheaded; even if he's kind, he's far from a pushover, willing to stand his ground and argue the fight as needed. While his temper is nowhere near as explosive as when he was a child, this does also mean that he can often end up shouting his convictions for all the world to hear.
  • Last of note, in his years at Chaldea, he's come to develop a very nature loving and artistic side. He greatly enjoys music, and animals, and is often first to encourage taking a quiet moment to enjoy the scenery of a new destination with some tea. These things may well have contributed to his status as a pseudo-Tengu.

Powers:
Genta personally doesn't have many powers; what he has, rather, is a unique inventory. As he and the others are accustomed to being flung randomly into chaos, they have taken to keeping certain things on them (even while in their room).

As such, this inventory includes:
  • 'You Can Be A Dragon Too!'
  • Power Wrist/Anklets
  • Mystic Code (Outfit) - Think Mori Kei Style. The code allows the use of three unique spells in tandem with his Crow.
  • Phone (disabled) - Though to be fair he can still load up the photo album. It just. Can't do anything else. Glorified Brick...

Powerwise, it can and should be noted that he is astoundingly stealthy, by unconscious nature. Aside from those who are trained to locate spies and assasins, he often finds himself surprising others by simply walking in the room. It's like he disappears.

As well, he gives off the feeling of someone who's 'one with the earth'- in general, animals and similar creatures tend to trust him more easily.

It can be said that, without intending it, Genta has successfully become akin to the Tengu of the Fate/ Canon- though no one has pointed it out.
Dependents:
  • Karinto - A Galactic Sphinx Cub, the size of a Lion Cub. While one day they will be huge, it could well take centuries for that, so right now they're just small and cute. They were in Genta's jacket, on his back, during arrival.
  • Lupus - A massive white wolf, whose bark is worse than their bite- and they don't even bark! They exist entirely to be soft, warm, and fluffy so that people can relax. Genta was brushing them before arriving, which explains how they came here at all.
  • Sawarako - Genta's Summon Crow, a part of Daitengu's Noble Phantasm. Sawarako is always present, and acts like a particularly intelligent crow- even while shapeshifted. Their ability is of course that; Sawarako can transform into any Heroic Spirit from within the Throne of Heroes. At least, the Throne from Genta's world. ...But maybe if another Throne existed, that would change..?

Character Name: Abric Solari
Canon Name: Star Wars: The Old Republic
Age: 43 (or 48 if you want to count five years of carbonite hibernation)

OC, AU, or CRAU History:
here you go!

Personality:
Just a Guy Who Likes to Party
Abric wants to be the life of the party. Not because he wants to hog the spotlight--though he does love having it--but because he should have fun and so should everyone else around him. He'll shell out endless credits to keep the jukebox running, he'll dance on an empty stage to encourage people onto it. As a leader, he's the "guy you'd have a beer with", but not shit about it. He leads by injecting fun into a table full of animosity. Buying drinks, getting games and stories going. Subtly reminding everyone that everyone else at that table is a person, too.

Better Ridiculous Than Boring
Following from the above... As much as he likes the spotlight, as vain as he is (he loves to brag, and nearly every outfit he has sports at least a navel window; his favorite outfit to wear is an open jacket with no shirt under it), Abric's pride isn't so shallow. He is not above sharing an embarrassing anecdote or walking around with a sign on his back for a silly bit. As long as he keeps the people around him happy, he's having fun, too. (He got a genuine, unguarded laugh out of Lana once, when they worked together on Rishi. He's been trying to score a repeat victory since.) He'll take a neon purple speeder down to survey the ruins of a dead planet so there's something that isn't dreary down there. By all appearances, he's a man trying to wring zest from every moment.

The Past is Past (but never gone)
...But don't mistake him for someone who exclusively lives in the moment. That's what he wants you to see. But old wounds still hurt and old grudges still burn. Look at how hard he tried to convince himself he hated his then-ex husband in chapter 1. Look how much that pain influenced how he responded to Flow's growing bond with Oberon. He'll shove all his hurts and insecurities to the back in favor of some catchy tunes and lively company.

Coping Style: Laugh It Off! (until you can't)
...And that goes for everything that might be wrong with him. It only came out in the open when he believed Flow was making the same mistake, or when he confronted Natirru directly. What's that? His mental landscape was a barren gray wasteland, like a Force-dead world? Yeah, duh! Valkorion kind of shattered his mind to take over him (how had he missed him regaining his strength like that?). What's that? It was still all bleak after he'd pieced himself back together? Nah, that doesn't mean anything! How about he puts on some tunes, this jukebox has the best version of his favorite song! He can do this until every star collapses! (Including his own. Collapsing stars are dangerous. He almost murdered Natirru!)

Golden Heart Isn't Buried Deep
Ultimately, he does all this for the people around him. He acts like he's in it for himself, but that act has long since eroded now that he's running a planet, curating a sanctuary away from either major faction (well, as much as he can now, anyway). In fact, it's never taken much digging to get to his generosity. Even when this mercenary front was its strongest, when it had the full bitterness of Natirru leaving him backing it up and making it kind of real, he would often conveniently "forget" to ask for payment if someone sent him after a missing family member.

You didn't THINK he could be responsible, did you? That's okay, neither did he.
He grew up idolizing fictional lone wolf spacer heroes and one real bounty hunter--outside the system, playing it to its fullest for the only person that matters: themselves. For a long time, he acted the part pretty well. Maybe even believed it. Didn't want commitment...until he fell so deeply in love he proposed. Didn't believe in settling down...until he had a husband who wanted to work at a proper planetside medcenter. Didn't want to rule jack shit, even completely abandoned an entire pirate fleet. Now he's running a planet.

How much of that was what he thought he should be, instead of what he truly was? He's discovering that, himself, with every passing year.

Powers:
Minor Force-sensitivity: Even with the little push his Force ghost possession gave his trace of sensitivity, Abric can't be a full Jedi, Sith, or anything in between. He can't levitate things or people and can't do mind tricks. He can't use a lightsaber without hurting himself. But he does have uncanny intuition (support beam's about to break? He'll figure it out a split second faster than anyone just listening for cues) and, when the chips are down, can pull off a full Force shockwave (hurts and pushes, immediately in front of user: think D&D's spell Thunderwave), but only once every few hours. He's got some resistance to psychic suggestion--there's a scene in game where a Jedi and Sith have a mind trick tug-of-war with the player and they can just shrug them both off if they want.
---Glimmer, the Force-attuned blaster pistol: He's got a fancy gun, pretty white filigree, nice shiny orange power crystal... Oh yeah--the focusing crystal that makes the laser is actually a Force crystal. He's attuned to it. Which mostly just translates to an unusually intense attachment to the weapon. But there's nothing weird about an intrepid spacer having an Old Reliable, right? He can do the telekinesis thing with it, sort of. His gun can be no further than a foot from arm's reach to pull to his hand.

Dependents:
None that were with him! If you'd like to surprise him with a plush, be my guest!

IC INFO
Character Name: Zero Two
Canon Name: The Murderbot Diaries/Pokemon (the games, not during any but near Legends Z-A in the timeline)
Age: Its been about 4 years since its last mindwipe, but SecUnits are created as adults
OC, AU, or CRAU History:
Original Universe-
  • Zero Two does not know how old it is, because SecUnits have their memory wiped sometimes, but it remembers about four years.
  • Three of those years were normal SecUnit work for a rental company (it will never reveal the name of the company it was owned by). Its mostly been contracted to mines and planetary surveys. Standard SecUnit use and abuse (both by and of it).
  • Its most notable contract occurred, during a survey on some planet with approx 30 people & three SecUnits (it was 02, of course):
    • Part way through survey attacked by two large mole-like fauna
    • Attack happened over night/rest period. There were light tremors but it would have been fine had head supervisor not set off the alarm which drew attention
    • 03 died saving asshole manager from a mole, it will be missed
    • 01 was already rouge, spread hack to 02 when it thought manager was about to die/everyone else was dead and didn't want to lose BOTH teammates (it later apologized)
    • Manager stabilized but died later. Found one person on the base alive anyway.
    • 02 went to search tunnels left by the moles and found more people (they were further than it would have been able to go if not rouge), a total of 6 survivors, one of which was management but thankfully not as jerky as head manager.
    • The company retrieves units and humans after about a week. 02 makes sure to download a first aid module once they contact the computer at the base.
  • Having no other idea about what to do (or safe way to escape), it just returns to working and pretending to still be governed. Thankfully its next job was with 01 again, and it gives some tips on how to hide being a rouge and trick systems into thinking everything is normal.
  • Its had a few other contracts since then, sometimes with 01 or other familiar units, but nothing of particular note.
  • After about a year of working and hiding being rouge, there was an incident while in transit in a wormhole. It has no idea what happened, as it was in a shipping crate at the time. But somehow the ship exploded, it shut down and then restarted in another universe.

Pokemon Universe-
  • Rebooted in the wilds of Kalos, a few months before the events of Legends Z-A (it obviously doesn't know the timeline)
  • As neither human nor pokemon it exists in some sort of in-between role, meaning it can more or less understand Pokemon. They can't properly talk to it, but it gets the general idea of what they're trying to say. This works even on wild pokemon. Additionally, pokemon can tell its not human.
  • Met and befriended Bird (then Fletchling) and Flower (then Flabébé) before finding any civilization. Later offered the two of them pokeballs and they willingly captured themselves. (This is how Zero Two 'catches' most of its pokemon.)
  • First contact with human civilization is a small town (not on the game maps). They were kind of stuck up and not very welcoming.
  • But when it was being confronted and obviously confused a nearby Rotom overheard. It was inhabiting a Rotomphone that was in for refurbishing but decided that this weird not-human not-pokemon was more interesting than being upgraded so it stole itself and found Zero Two as it left town. Thankfully for Zero Two they could communicate wirelessly and asking a electric-ghost-phone questions was a lot easier to getting information from uppity humans. Most of Zero Two's knowledge of the pokemon world is learned from its rotomphone.
  • When traveling between that first small town and Camphrier, it saved an Eevee from two mean boys and at the same time met a young woman named Simone. They were both headed the same way so they traveled together.
  • It had no idea where to go after getting to Camphrier and Simone was nice and friendly so they ended up traveling together. She was on her way to see family in Laverre...eventually. They took quite a round about route since there was no hurry and Simone wanted to wander. They mostly traveled through routes and wilder areas, camping over night and resting in pokecenters instead of finding places to stay in civilization.
  • Since they traveled together for months, Simone figured out its not a normal human (she wonders if its some sort of pokemon) but did promised not to tell anyone. It never really explained because how the hell do you explain universe travel in the first place.
  • Eventually they reached Laverre and parted ways, but not before sharing contact information.
  • Since their trip had been mostly through eastern Kalos, Zero Two headed towards the ocean for its next trek.

Personality:
  • Protective. Zero Two wants to protect people/things it cares about and really just humans (and smaller, not as deadly animals) in general. It is its function.
  • Helpful. It likes helping people with things when it can. It no longer has to obey requests and orders, but does tend to default to helping when asked to do something reasonable.
  • Paranoid/anxious/security minded. This is also its function, so its always on the look out for threats and often comes up with possible threats that may not be logical or likely. It never really relaxes
  • Analytical. Since its part computer, it tends to analyze everything before making decisions. Thankfully it can do this much faster than a human could
  • Awkward. Zero Two has no real idea how to deal with people so social situations, especially with multiple people, get very awkward. Its also not sure how to emote/stop itself from emoting when needed. Its ignorant of many, many things so this often adds to the awkwardness it has when interacting with people.
  • Cold. Its a computer, so even when it does care it doesn't come across well (this may improve in time). It also has huge issues with making friends and takes a long time to trust someone enough.
  • It really likes cute things, okay. Especially smaller animals. It has a system judging various traits to say how cute something is; things like eye size, fluffiness, size, but the highest weighted is "how my organics react to it." So it doesn't really know why some things just ping as "cute."
  • Damaged. PTSD is just normal for SecUnits, right??? (Yes. Yes it is.)

Powers:
wiki links, but they are lacking.

SecUnits are robot/human constructs (cyborgs, basically) built for combat and defense. They're much stronger, sturdier and agile than humans are. If they fight each other or combat bots its often too fast for humans to keep up with. Their bones are made of metal and their veins seal themselves so they don't bleed out. They're able to control the level of, or turn off, their pain sensors so they can keep fighting when damaged.

Being about half robot gives them a huge edge up on mental capabilities as well, as they are considered machine intelligences. They're able to multitask to a crazy amount, keeping up with multiple inputs from drones, cameras and sensors, as well as run background processes without thinking about them (in canon Murderbot normally runs a process to make it move more like a human; Zero Two has a similar process). They think much faster than humans (pauses of a fraction of a section are noticed as hesitation between AIs) and have a better computing power. This is mostly meant for being able to calculate things for combat or protecting (or oppressing) people, but it does result in genius level IQ as far as humans are concerned.
They also have memory banks they can store things in long or short term, like threat lists for the area they're stationed in, absurd amounts of corporate rules and TV shows/movies/media. Governed SecUnits can't keep things that don't apply to their mission or general purpose, but nothing's stopping ungoverned units from filling their memory banks with years worth of media. Ungoverned unts have complete control over what information they save and discard, though governed units are unable to delete some things. Notably, Zero Two made sure to download a first aid module after the mole attack.

SecUnits are designed to be a part of a security system, so they can wirelessly connect to networks and computers (at least computers capable of such connections). Because they're used to monitor extensive security systems and the corporate rim is terrible, they also have the ability to data mine all of those inputs. They have systems that will go through and find things the company that owns them finds valuable (for legit reasons, blackmail or just to sell the data). As AIs they can analyze data quickly and efficiently. This is used to determine the probability of threats (and other things) as well as corporate spying.
They are computers, so they can navigate code easily and hack into things humans could not. Governed SecUnits are only able to do this when ordered too, so Zero Two doesn't have any real experience getting into systems its not supposed to be in. (But sometimes if you ask nicely the system's AI might let you in anyway!) It does know a few tricks to obfuscate or confuse the systems it is supposed to be in, though.

In addition to the normal human senses they also have a number of computerized senses they can use to scan for things like life signs or heat. They're able to adjust their visual and audio inputs with a number of filters to see/hear things differently or easier. Or just turn those inputs off for whatever reason.

SecUnits do not need to sleep or eat, they just need to go into recharge cycles periodically and sometimes need a reset like a normal computer.

And they have guns in their arms. Zero two has the normal set of two energy weapons with varying intensity settings. Though they can kill, they're not considered high power weapons so they're often given other weapons to wield.

I made up some additional pokemon-world abilities as follows:
Wireless/feed ability allows it to communicate 'telepathically' with electric pokemon. The Rotom in its phone is somewhat helpful, but most are somewhere between animal and small child level intelligence.
The wireless/feed ability also allows it to see what pokemon are in each ball, but this only applies to pokemon its caught.
It has downloaded the entire Kalos pokedex to its internal storage. And some stuff about more popular/common out-of-region mons. Also very basics on a number of legendaries/mythicals.

Dependents:
Pocket Mons:

Bird (Fletchinder; lv33)
Attacks: Ember, Flame Wheel, Quick Attack, Wing Attack
Ability: Flame Body

Flower (Floette; lv32)
Attacks: Magical Leaf, Moonblast, Aromatherapy, Draining Kiss
Ability: Flower Veil

Ring Fox (Umbreon; lv32)
Attacks: Bite, Swift, Tackle, Moonlight
Ability: Inner Focus

Snow Tree (Abomasnow; lv42)(shiney)*
Attacks: Razor Leaf, Ice Punch, Leech Seed, Icy Wind
Ability: Snow Warning
*Zero Two has the megastone (and a mega ring) for this guy but has never used it

Windy (Amaura; lv8)
Attacks: Tackle, Icy Beam, Growl, Rock Throw
Ability: Refrigerate

Also the rotomphone, but it'll never battle it just acts as an actually helpful clippy for pokemon stuff.
I'm fine with any or all of these being nerfed to lower levels. I assume the megastone/ring just won't work.

Character Name: Emporio Aliño
Canon Name: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean
Age: 15

OC, AU, or CRAU History:
Emporio's Canon History is located on the JJBA wikipedia; notably, all images that could be considered graphic will be hidden by content warnings, as the site takes great care about such things. However, as I am aware the canon art style is offputting to some - If needed, you can right click this page, and choose 'Open In Reading Mode' from Google Chrome, and you will be able to read everything without the images!

Z-A's Canon is here, though the AU timeline will be vital in detailing differences between ZA's Storyline and how Emporio approached it - they also fill the blanks between the two instances (and for that matter, the blanks caused by an insufficient wikipedia).

Some unique Lore Notes relevant to the world as a whole have been written as well.

Lastly, here is the AU History Write Up

Personality:
🌸 Incredibly intelligent, and intuitive - at least in the sense of self-preservation. Able to readily perform actions after reading about how to do so once (IE. - piloting a helicopter), though this is limited when it comes to physically powered tasks. Over all, generally a quick study and quicker at strategy, though he's prone to fluster under pressure. It takes a few seconds to get himself back in the game.
🌸 Kind-hearted, and caring. While he defaults to what protects himself, it's difficult for him to ignore injustice or trouble when it happens directly in front of him - though he often hesitates to take a direct route to stop it unless backed by someone else.
🌸 Very private by nature and necessity - the people he trusted and loved most all died soon after he opened his heart to them, and opening himself up to the people of Lumiose nearly ended the same way. Add in being separated again, and he's slow to do more than offer polite distance and a mask of cheer.
🌸 That said, he's naturally curious and excitable - encountering new things that are fun, bewildering, these are all things that ultimately draw out happiness from him. Actually containing and controlling his emotions isn't something he really grew up doing, so it's easy to knock him off guard with things like that.
🌸 Realistic, or at least mostly realistic. Expectations of the world's laws aside, he tends to assume not quite the worst but close to it - he understandably fears for Lida's life when they're talking to Corbeau, as in any typical mob situation, insults could easily get them killed. These expectations can lead to confusion when defied however; Corbeau, to fall on the same example, is in actuality extremely kind, making the man genuinely baffling to him (but he's not upset about it).
🌸 He's likewise deflective, and avoidant; Emporio doesn't enjoy direct conflict, as it attracts attention more often than not. Go figure, his go-to method of combat during the Z-A Royale is always sneaking up on people. If he can deal with something without creating fuss or drawing attention, he'll take it.
🌸 Above all though, despite all his fearful traits, Emporio is extremely determined - and for that matter, utterly brutal when pressed. His final resort in canon itself was an all or nothing poisoning, but his unconscious soul went for tearing the enemy's face off. When Emporio is backed in a corner, and his life is truly at risk, he doesn't back down...he gets deadly, and for the sake of others, he can get pretty close to that as well.

Powers:
For the sake of completion, and in case events within the game make them relevant, Emporio's Stands are listed below, alongside what is considered unique to the Pokemon World he is from.

🌸 'To Hear the Hearts of Pokemon' - Those who grew up in severe isolation, like Emporio, are more sensitive to the meanings of Pokemon behaviors. While it isn't a word-to-word language, it does mean that (at least with Pokemon from his own world) Emporio is able to understand them to a much more conversational degree compared to typical trainers. As Pokemon are in turn often very intelligent, this means he can direct them to perform various actions with much greater ease.
🌸 'Mega Compatibility' - Through the use of a 'Keystone', Emporio is typically able to harness and channel latent 'Mega Energy' within the air. Loosely defined as Natural Energy, this power is then synchronized with a compatible target (typically a Pokemon's held mega stone) in order to release power. At the moment, with no available Mega Power to wield, the keystone is non-functioning...but if a similar 'natural energy' is encountered later on, that could perhaps change.
🌸 STAND - 'Burning Down the House' - The Stand Emporio was born with. It manifests as an internal ability; simply put, Emporio was able to interact with memories of ruined locations by using existing structures to access them. These 'Ghost Rooms' resembled the original ruined structure at the prime of its existence, and nothing within could be permanently altered beyond that 'moment' in time. As such, while Ghost Foods could be tasted, they could not truly be consumed; Ghost weapons as well could not cause damage, simply passing through anything of the present day.
🌸 STAND - 'Weather Report' - The Stand Emporio inherited at the end of his series. Akin to a 'Persona'; it manifests as a humanoid formed from clouds, and has the ability to control the weather (and also punch things, technically). As a form of summon, it could be argued that in the event it comes to exist in Noanga, Weather Report is also a form of 'dependent'...though Weather Report is far more dedicated to protecting Emporio than anything else (potentially to Emporio's very detriment in fact). Despite its abilities being defined as 'controls weather', Weather Report is extremely flexible in its abilities- it has been used on screen to create space suits using breathable air as its material, manifest water and ice directly from the air itself, and even reduce the breathable air of a room into pure oxygen.

While not technically powers, the following are also noteworthy;

First, perhaps because of where he came from, the language that Emporio speaks by default is technically Kalosian. He can, however, switch to Kemetic Arabic, Cokmak, and Galarian English. If he tries to speak his native English, it is heard as gibberish. (For reference, Kemetic should sound like Egyptian Arabic, while Cokmak sounds like Turkish.)

Second, while current movesets are listed below, Legends ZA introduces a unique take on Pokemon learnsets that has been incorporated into the world-building of Emporio's AU. Specifically, a Pokemon never forgets a move; rather, a set of maximum four 'moves' are declared at the beginning of any trainer battles. Therefore, TMs aside, Emporio's combat oriented Pokemon could in fact make use of any move as listed on their Legends ZA level up listings.

Dependents:
🌸 Rotom (Dead Man's Party) - Typical resident of Emporio's 'Roto-Phone' and 'Roto-Bike'. Unfortunately, as both devices have abruptly bricked on the Noanga, they're prone to tantrums and mischief. Curiously, despite the phone being entirely bricked, they're still capable of glide and slow-fall features - though this may be due to their ability as a fully combat capable Pokemon. In fact, if Dead Man's Party possesses certain devices (as seen in existing Pokemon Canon), they'll change Type.
  • Moveset: Hex, Trick, Electro Ball, and Thundershock (which changes to the following if possessing an applicable appliance; Overheat (Heat related/Fire type), Hydro Pump (Washing/Mopping related/Water type), Blizzard (Freezing apparati/Ice type), Air Slash (Fans/Flight/Flying type), Leaf Storm (Foliage care/Grass type)). Full ZA Moveset Here.

  • 🌸 Emboar (Blue Oyster Cult) - Emporio's first truly registered Pokemon, named for the song 'Burning for You'. Blue is fairly in sync with Emporio, and his most readily capable combat Pokemon as such (though the Rotom is more useful for fine tasks). A big eater (who'll honestly eat anything), Emporio had gotten him in the habit of staying out of the ball even at night when a Tepig, so now the bed is often shared with a massive 'flaming' boar.
  • Moveset: Heat Crash, Rollout, Bulldoze, Close Combat. Full ZA Moveset Here.

  • 🌸 Golisopod (Kilroy Was Here) - A somewhat more recent addition to Emporio's team. Like Blue, Kilroy carries a megastone, but unless allowed by local surroundings, is unable to use it. Despite their size, they maintain some degree of anxiousness from their fairly recent life as a Wimpod. As Emporio was aware of Mega Golisopod when he caught the shiny Wimpod, he combined references to cleaning and robots via 'Mr. Roboto' for the name.
  • Moveset: First Impression, Pin Missile, Liquidation, Iron Head. Full ZA Moveset Here.

  • 🌸 Zygarde - Reduced to 'Level 1' due to the Noanga. Emporio carries around a case containing the remaining 90% of Zygarde's cells, but while in theory the device could allow Zygarde to change forms, it appears to be inert while Zygarde is incapable of combat. To say the least, Zygarde's megastone is also useless for the same reason.

Leonardo Hamato | Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles | player-made AU

    [personal profile] faceguy 2026-01-01 03:27 am (UTC)(link)
    OOC INFO
    Name: Dandy

    IC INFO
    Character Name: Leonardo Hamato
Canon Name: Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Age: 15-ish (he's 14 at the start of canon and 16 by the end sooooo /waves a hand)

    OC, AU, or CRAU History:
    • all canon events are the same up until the final episodes of season 1 (everything post-Mama Train)
    • instead of getting into the Dark Armor himself, Draxum put Leo into the armor, leading to Leo being trapped inside for 3 days while the armor wreaked havoc on the Hidden City
    • though he was saved from the Dark Armor, Leo suffered permanent physical damage from the effects of the armor, including permanent fatigue, chronic pain similar to a neurological disorder, decreased bone density, and brain damage.
    • though Leo was able to regain some strength through time, diet, and exercise, he would never regain his full strength; this realization led to a period of depression for Leo, during which he lashed out at his family
    • one night Leo overheard something on his brothers' comms that made him realize they were going to be ambushed; he radioed them to warn them just in time, saving them from an enemy attack
    • realizing he could still help his brothers from afar, Leo threw himself into becoming their "guy in the chair", able to walk them through plans and schemes from a distance and keep his family safe even when he can't physically be beside them

For a full rundown, check out my sidelined AU info post on tumblr.

    Personality:
Leo in this AU shares a lot of his canon counterpart's personality, with some noticeable differences.

In canon, Leo often masks how he's feeling with smiles and puns, rarely showing negative emotions and only crying when he's truly alone. Though this Leo still attempts to mask, and is certainly quick with his own puns or quips, he has a much more difficult time truly hiding his emotions, and tends to have his heart more on his sleeve than he used to. In some ways this frustrates him, because it can lead people to pity him (or at least demonstrate what he interprets as pity); he also finds it embarrassing. But it can also be a good thing, allowing him to advocate for himself and his needs in a way that is more difficult for his canon counterpart.

This Leo also struggles more with his self esteem, having had much of his ego and confidence broken. As of this point in his story, he's steadily been working on getting his confidence back, gaining more faith in his own skills and abilities and finding ways to regain his independence. But it's still a work in progress, and Leo's feelings can be more easily bruised than in canon.

Leo very heavily values his independence, doing anything he can by himself as a point of pride. Touching or moving his wheelchair without his approval is a big no for him, and he can find attempts to help him without asking first to be suffocating. He pours a lot of himself into being what he deems as "useful", always up for learning new skills if he thinks they'll be helpful to his family down the line. And he takes pride in what he's able to do to help out.

Differences aside, Leo retains his congenial personality and his love of puns. He is a very caring person who only wants to take care of his family and the others around him. Though he can be distrusting, especially if someone does something that concerns him, he is quick to make people his friend, and he'll always be there for a friend no matter what. And though he's still learning, he has the makings of a good leader, able to see others' strong points and work with their weaknesses. He thinks of others above himself, even when he doesn't know them at all, regularly sticking his neck out for civilians around New York to protect them from bad guys, and of course being very self-sacrificial when it comes to his family. But through all hardship, he tries to keep the mood as light as he can. His ultimate aim is to keep everyone around him smiling - or at least groaning at his bad jokes.

    Powers:
    • Mystic Powers(dormant):
as a result of his mystic energy being drained by the Dark Armor, Leo cannot currently access any of his mystic powers. It's possible he could reawaken them over the course of events, though, so I'm including them here.
      • Portals: Leo can create portals that he can send people or objects through. Momentum is maintained during portal travel, and Leo can angle the exit portals for various tricks. If Leo is not familiar with an area, he can only open portals where he can actually see. But if Leo is familiar enough with an area to clearly visualize it, he can use portals to travel across large distances. For example, he can open a portal into his bedroom from almost anywhere, but can't open a portal to a city he's never visited (he can try, but he'll probably miss and end up somewhere else). Obviously for the game, this will be nerfed so he cannot portal back home/to any inaccessible areas.
      • Teleportation: Leo can also teleport directly between his swords (if he has more than one; they also need to be created by his mystic power). Rather than using a portal, he instantaneously covers the space between one sword and the other. If someone else is holding the other sword when he teleports, he can swap places, or, if someone is touching the same sword as he is, he can teleport them with him.
      • Weapon Creation: Leo can turn a pointy object into one of his mystic swords. This is energy intensive and would only be done very sparingly - he can't just summon weapons out of thin air any time he likes.
    • Physical Abilities:
These are skills that aren't canon for Rise Leo but are more unique to this AU:
      • Lockpicking: can pick most manual locks (electronic locks are a different beast)
      • Code-breaking: Leo has studied many common ciphers and enjoys breaking codes for fun.
      • Field Medicine: mostly first aid and basic emergency treatment; Leo has also learned techniques for dealing with broken shells and other turtle-specific concerns
      • Basic Mechanics: though no match for his brother, Leo has started helping Donnie on basic maintenance and repair work for his tech, and has learned many techniques like how to hot wire a car and how to fix a blown fuse (or intentionally blow one). His goal is to be able to fix something or walk someone else through a fix in a pinch.
      • Basic Coding/Hacking: very basic programs and low security hacking only; for anything more complicated he gets Donnie or Shelldon to do it.

    Dependents:
S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N: an AI bot built by Donnie, about the size of a roomba. Shelldon helps Leo with some mission related tasks (hacking, viewing documents/schematics, etc) but also helps Leo with a lot of day-to-day tasks, including remembering his medicine schedule, transcribing things people say to Leo in text so he can remember it later or understand it better (audio processing disorder), piloting his chair if he's incapacitated or separated from it, fetching help if Leo is in need, etc. Shelldon is basically a high tech service dog.
