The Rules
The Rules Navigation | Rules | FAQ | Taken | Reserves | ApplyDon't be a jerk - You are all adults. You are expected to be respectful towards each other and treat others as you would like to be treated.
Opt-Outs and HMDs are Mandatory - If someone asks you not to tag them, or they don't want your CRAU recognising their character, or someone has specific content they would like to be warned for or avoid, the onus is on you to respect this and on them to be mindful of their own desires.
Keep communication lines open - It’s expected that, should you end up confused/annoyed with someone, you will attempt to sort it out with them before engaging the mods. No one mind reads; if there is a problem, bring it up before it becomes unwieldy.
That said, the Mod can only do something about issues if it’s brought up through official mod contact channels.
Three strikes and you are out - A strike or ban will be issued on a case-by-case basis, based on the information obtained from all parties involved. Bans are never done lightly.
Behind every character is a human being - As such, antagonistic or villainous characters do not reflect the player’s stance on matters, and a character’s reactions to things do not reflect the player’s. If in doubt, ask the player.
IC Actions = IC Consequences - What it says on the tin. If your blorbo wants to go kill/steal/silly string someone's room, be ready for the consequences.
No godmoding, infomodding, or back-seat Modding - Again, should go without saying.
Godmoding is playing another person's character or directing their actions without permission.
Infomodding is using strictly OOC knowledge to solve IC problems.
Back-seat modding is speaking for the mods when you aren’t one (this doesn't include pointing out where the mod has said or answered something, or pointing to the mod contact). This will result in either a strike or a ban.
Ask questions! - When in doubt, ask for clarification. No one mind reads.
