Locations on the ship

The Noanga
What was once a sleek, arrow shaped spaceship some seven kilometres in length is now a semi-derelict thing, all matte and dull, with a pitted hull as it travels the stars. While the ship remains in a semi-liveable state, the Bangles will beep warnings should a character stray too far from the habitable areas.

Whoever built the ship built it to hold crew of all sizes, from 3ft to a towering 40ft tall and the once vibrantly decorated halls are now dull, though here and there they still retain some heart and soul as some strange life clings to it to even now, rendering it somehow still liveable.

Everything about the ship speaks of an multi-sized yet integrated crew, with semi-functional teleportals between locations for smaller species to get around with, lifts between the four decks, and ceilings that are at a constant height of 50ft.

The ship smells faintly of ozone, rust, and the synthetic tang of recycled air. Everything feels lived-in but is now long abandoned.

It is a very large ship, and the locations below are the currently known ones.

The Bridge
The only truly intact area of the ship. Overseen and guarded by Navi-No, the Bridge is the arrival point of all characters, though they are encouraged to vacate it as soon as possible.

[Unnamed] bar/tavern
Easy enough to find: Just follow the sounds of machinery groaning and clanking like old men in the kitchen. The bar/tavern itself is basic in layout, ceilings arching high, long counters and tables lined with stools sized for both giants and sprites. Despite the size, it is useful for grabbing yourself some food and drink from the semi-functional food replicators. It probably doesn't taste the best, and it probably spits out a Nutri-cube half the time, but it's food at least.

A disused industrial kitchen is attached. It's seen better days and is probably not functional without some effort. A currently unstocked bar is also located within the area, as is a generously large storage area for food and drink. Not that there is anything of the sort right now.

The Lounge
A posh looking lounge that has admittedly seen better days. Somehow that doesn't diminish the opulence of it, nor take away from being the perfect area to kick back, relax and watch movies on one of the many TVs. Or maybe you'll play some pool on one of the pool tables.

Or perhaps you can get one of the many other distractions working again.

Or, better yet, give into the inner child and spend time in a ball pit built for 30ft tall aliens.

The Jungle
Taking up just over half of Deck One, it's an overgrown park more jungle than park at this point. It's roughly as big NYC's Central Park, and will take time and effort to clear it into anything park-like or truly usable. For now, the jungle canopy has sealed the ceiling from view, thick tangles of alien flora choke the paths as roots tear up benches, vines crawl over rusting statues, crumbled pavilions, and ponds overrun with glowing algae.

There are teleport pads hidden in the jungle and the air is heavy with the perfume of too many competing blossoms.

It is beautiful. It is dangerous. Creatures may live here, the descendants of pets or pests long forgotten. The trees whisper to one another and the jungle might as well be another world with it's own micro-climate. Sometimes you enter and it’s raining. Or it's unbearably warm. Sometimes the mist is thick and glowing. Sometimes, you could swear the jungle is watching you.

If you go in, it's best to take a buddy and be careful! Who knows what you will find within...

A functional Observatory
A functional observatory for watching the stars drift by outside. Of all the areas on the ship, this one seems to be one of the few, after the bridge, that is mostly intact. Quiet, serene, almost reverent. The hum of the ship feels like the heartbeat of a slumbering giant.

The 'glass' is cool to the touch like glass, but is probably anything but glass. It is a good mimic for it, though, and attempts to crack it will result in the Observatory going into lockdown.

You could try and fix things; it'll take a lot of work and a lot of supplies... which you don't really have. Yet.

The Zero-Gravity Observatory
Much like the Normal Observatory, though the zero-g is wonky and shorts out now and again. Hopefully you weren't at the ceiling when the gravity kicked back on... Or didn't get slammed into the ceiling when the zero-g kicked in. When it works, drifting among stars in zero-G, in total silence, is awe-inspiring.

The Library
A generic library where all the books are blank or turn to dust if you touch them, and the few data crystals found in here hum but refuse to play.

The library is wrong and the dust of knowledge coats your hands. Yet stay long enough and you could swear you hear voices between the shelves. Recitations. Lessons. Songs. But when you turn, the aisles are empty.

If you are lucky -or unlucky enough- you might find your thoughts narrated in a book you swear wasn’t there before.

The Aquarium
Added by Lias
Central to a point where multiple hallways meet is a giant column of an aquarium, reaching almost to the ceiling. The top is open and can be reached by a walkway, the only security a sign warning "Do not swim". A pretty reef is in there, full of aquatic plants and corals in all colours, gently waving in the current. Some snails and shrimp can be spotted, but oddly enough no fish.

The Small Hanger
A small hanger bay that houses several small shuttles known as 'Jumpers'. For those who might know, the resemble the Puddle Jumpers from Stargate. These can be used to leave the ship for short trips, and each comes with several working space suits designed for general bipedal bodyplans. More exotic suits can be found in the hanger's maintenance closet.

Locations within Federation Space

Hyra
A colossal gas and water giant that orbits a sun-like star. Hyra is the homeworld of the Jellykin species.
